Yes - I believe there is a bigger gap between physical and emotional love than most people think.

Physical attraction is just that - physical, which can be sight sound smell (having to do with our biological/.animal instinct). His body physically seeks good genetic stock compatible with his to produce more humans!

The best relationships should be a combination of great physical attraction as well as really enjoying someone’s personality an intellectual traits. The big picture in other words.

The trouble with this all is you can be completely physically attracted to someone but that does NOT mean you will make a good pair it just means you might make good babies. Therefore, you must ALWAYS take you time in relationship and use you head.

So I'd say if you love someone without the physical contact you have a great start!

I know what your talking about and yes I believe you could. The same thing happened to me. Just becareful with your heart, make sure the other person feels the same.
