Ever have that feeling that if you gave yourself over to the music totally you would never come back?

I mean music that fills you, whatever the genre. For me Nightwish EPICA, Anathema, Moonspell and HIM are like that. It seems I only have to give into the music a little further I will forget myself, forget how to get back. It seems so tempting to do that, to take the next step. Does music do that to anyone else?

I have no idea what category this should go in.

Yes, and I have come close..... I used to drive around the desert by myself at night listening to Lyle Mays first album and really get out there. One night as I was driving slowly with the window open, inhaling the scent of spring sage in the air and listening to Lyle Mays, my headlights shone on a white wild horse. I stopped the car and turned off the engine. The horse walked across the road in front of me, neighing. It may have been a mare calling to its baby, or a stallion calling a mare. I watched it walk out of sight into the darkness as I listen to Lyle Mays. I didn't think I would ever come back from that, or even want to.
