Troubleshooting Phillips projector TV?

Model number PTV915 manufactured in 2002.

When the TV is plugged in and turned on, it works beautifully. A while after, the sound cuts out. Then another 20 minutes or so, the video source starts switching itself automatically. Then shortly after that, the screen cuts out and the power seems to be trying to cycle on and off.

Other than demons... anyone have any ideas? I was thinking maybe a power supply issue?

Also if you know of a good source for Phillips parts, I'd love to know.

Thanks.

power supply certainly sounds reasonable, it could also be a heat issue, sometimes those things are cooled by a cheap $2 fan that can fail, and when it heats up it may start to act as if demons took over...just a guess though...

The lamp and the board inside may have gone bad. The lamp can be replaced but if it's the board that has problems - then it has to be serviced/ repaired by a technician.
