PERMISSION to use COPYRIGHTS for COMMERCIAL PURPOSES?

I want to start a business whereby I might have to do myself some drawings, caking & other crafting projects of using copyright stuffs such as Disney, Warner Bros, Barbie, Spongebob characters to make every single thing match to theme parties. In addition, I would like also to display my works of those characters on my flyers and website.

I looked everywhere on internet, but I can't figure out to whom I should ask. I went to their official websites to check their copyrights policy & contacts, but I still couldn't find the answers I need.

Can anyone please tell me how, where, how long and to whom would I need to contact with regards to using those characters (Copyrights). Please answer this question by providing me the URLs and email addresses of the owner's of those characters I have mentioned above.

Thanks so much for your help, until now I don't have much luck with getting any advice on this. So please, don't just tell me to look up in search engine bcoz I did it already.

Update:

I thought so too, but attorney is very expensive, they want 500 bucks/ hour for consultation. I guess, I can't afford that, since it is also not sure those copyright holders give me permission. It's too risky to make such huge investment.

Contact their legal departments, if you can find them. If you can afford it, I would retain an attorney who specializes in licensing of intellectual property, specifically copyrights and trademarks.
