what recent movies have not lived up to the hype they created?
mine is the remake of willy wonka with johnny depp. it was truly appalling.

I dont exactly remember any at the moment
But...I do have to agree; Willy Wonka was horrible.
You just cant remake a classic like that...

I will definitely agree with you on that one. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was a big disapointment. Let's hope Sweeney Todd is not like that. I also found the Nanny Diaries a big snooze. Bean's Vacation and I Know Who Killed Me were also big disappointments.

I have to agree with the above suggestion. American Gangster was not as good as I thought it would be. It was long and boring. Although, I think Denzel Washington is a great actor he couldn't pull off this boring film.
