How does the following adage apply to Yahoo!Answers?

"You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink?"

Essentially, if you're thinking what I'm thinking you get "Best Answer."

Thanks, folks.

Update:

I stand informed...yes, it's an idiom...now we're half way there!

Let's assume that Yahoo!Answers is a trough of water. A lot of these "horses" go up to the water, but they really don't want water. These people don't get on the site to learn or share, they just want to mouth off and waste everyone's time. So this horse just wants to stand in front of the trough and stop other horses from drinking.

Some of these horses are so lazy they can't be bothered to stick their noses into the water. They want someone to stick a tube down their throats and just let it run in. Others are so dumb, they don't even know what to do with the water. They stand their with their butts toward the trough and then wonder why the other horses are doing so well.

It's a great idea to have a forum for sharing information or helping someone out, but what can you do with these big-mouthed haters or numbskulls who write "plz plz plz i dint stuyd adn i have a big test tmorow. wt is america revelutoin???"

Children don't care if you can provide them with websites and sources and suggestions for help on their work. They want you to type the answer so that they can copy and paste your work (read: PLAGIARIZE) and make it their own.
