I had my cerclage taken out 2 days ago....how long will it take before i go into labor?

I had my cerclage taken out at 36 weeks the doctors thought i would go into labor that day but it is 2 days later and nothing. anyone had any experience with cerclages?

Update:

I never said it wasn't good that she was still in there. I was on bedrest from 12 weeks to 36 weeks and honestly I am going crazy.

Congratulations :) Any time now then ... I know it feels like forever but hang in there (easier said than done) and look forward to cuddling your lovely new baby.

She'll come when she's ready. Baby is boss! x

Sounds like its a matter of your baby and your body being ready to go into labour. I know bedrest can be horrible but I bet you can make it a little longer. Why not think about how you want your first hours/days with your newborn to be? What do you want to remember? This time goes by so fast once they are born.

Isnt it good that your body is holding onto your baby just those few days or weeks longer!

You may come into labour any time, but wish it to wait for that baby to be 'cooked' correctly :))
