Do you think it would be a blessing or curse to see yourself through the eyes of others?

Well it depends who the person is, and if I trust their opinion. It could be really horrible or very surprising. Good question. I think I would rather not know.

I can't decide.... I have no experience with knowing what others think of me so I'm not quite sure what is possible.
However, I don't think that it is inconceiveable that if I knew what others thought of me, I could find ways of dealing with that knowledge. Either by changing myself to assimilate, abandoning any preconceived notions of how I should or shouldn't be, etc.
My friend argues that it is impossible to maintain our ego and know that others do not find us valuable, but I am not convinced.
Fascinating question!

I would consider it as a blessing. It would help me to refine my ways as I cannot see my faults thro my own eyes. Definitely it would make a better me.
