How come Asians weren't protesting about APEC?

There were many people of Asian origin in the demonstration. I had friends with Lebanese, Russian, Vietnamese and Indian ancestry taking part. What is an "Asian face" anyway? Asia is a huge continent with people from an enormous number of cultures and language traditions. There is no more an "Asian" face than there is a "European" face or an "African" face.

There were people from all cultural backgrounds taking part.

If you have seen any coverage at all, you must have seen pics of the Falun Gong people sitting silently in cages in protest against the Chinese leadership? I think maybe you saw what you wanted to see!

If you saw more skip faces it's probably because there are more skips!

Maybe you should have watched it on tele...from what i saw there were ppl from Asia, africa, china, and other countries.

jimmyct...so what if our ancestors were crimminals, at least they made australia a country, where everyone is welcome..dont use this as an excuse to get back at us...its all history.

define Asians? Would you call someone Asians even thought they are born in Australia from Asian parents? If yes is the case, I think it is safe to call you a criminal because your ancestors, in fact, were a criminal. Is it how they were sent there in the first place?
