Enabling cookies?

I can't log in to an Internet site because I apparently have disabled this feature on my computer. How do I go about enabling them?

Update:

I'm currently using FireFox, and it appears by looking at the options I'm allowing cookies. I went into IE as suggested and modified the settings, but still get the same result.

First open internet explorer. Click the tools key in the toolbar and choose internet options. Click the privacy tab and move the slider down to the bottom. This should allow through all cookies. (This depends on your version of windows and/or your toolbar setup).

    In Internet Explorer

Options > Privacy > set slider to "Medium High" ; if slider is not visible click "default button" then adjust slider.

On Security tab set all 4 zones (Internet, Local Internet, Trusted, and Restricted sites) each to their default level.

On Advanced tab you may need to click button "restore advanced settings"

Click apply afterwards to save settings.
