Yes i have used it my buddy is locked up at the main jail in san jose. You go to borders or barnes and noble find the books you want to purshase for your buddy and bring the books to the cashier and tell the cashier you want to have the books sent to friends outside of santa clara county and they will have you fill out the forms and the bookstore will send the books thur the mail to friends outside and friends outside will deliver them.
