As long as you aren't overeating, going to the gym 3-4 times per week will get the results you wanted. Just give it time. Most peoples' problems with losing weight are that they are inconsistent and binge eat or give up alltogether.

I was in the same situation you are in. I had to totally change my diet. I did a complete detoxification of all of my organs that help produce waste.(liver cleanse, colon cleanse, kidney and bladder cleanse)This helped my body to maximize it's potential in eliminating toxins and waste that had stored in my body. Think of your body like an automobile. All of it's working parts must be cleaned to maximize performance. I then had to change my diet. No more foods with high fructose corn syrup. That is an ingredient in most foods that will make you fat. I also changed to organic foods mainly because most foods that are not organic have pesticides and toxins that were not meant to be in our body. I then started simple excercise like walking at a brisk pace for 30 minutes a day and it helped alot. even if you break up the routine in 10 minute increments it helps. Lifting weights is also key because muscle burns more calories than fat. Go to youcanloseweight.org. There are some interesting articles about some of the ingredients that we consume daily and what it does to your body. There are also some links to health stores that will aid you to lose the weight you want. I reccomend the vitaminproshop link. I changed my diet about 4 months ago and I have lost over 35 pounds and I feel great. Good luck to you.

Eat only when hungry. No more than three meals a day unless diabetic. Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.

Ok in the morning-two apples or oat meal, cereal with lowfat milk. Lunch-salad with anything, snack-nut trail mix, fruits, vegetables, low fat yogurt. Dinner something light like vegetables with wheat pasta. Drink plenty of water.
Try to stay away from potato, regular pasta, too much rice, butter, bread, fried food, sweets, sodas, and carbs. Exercise-walking,dancing,jumping any cardio for 30 min 4x a week is good.
Good luck I hope this helps

I'm on weight watchers. It is a great diet for me, but, I don't go to meetings. I bought the books online to save money. For someone like you who regularly exercises, I'd suggest the meetings. Your points would be funky because you do so many activities.
Another great plan is at www.sparkspeople.com. this one is free, my mom uses it and she loves it.

Diabetes is usually treated through a combination of diet (low sugar), exercise and medications/insulin. Read here https://tr.im/rBUTf
Milder cases can be controlled with just diet an/or exercise while more severe cases require meds or insulin as well.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
