Boot/trunk space in the Honda Civic Hybrid car?

How big is the boot/trunk?

more importantly, is it possible to fold the back seats down, allowing you to slide long items through into the boot/trunk?

I go surfing a lot and want to know if I'll be able to fit a 7 foot surfboard in the back

I just want to know it the seats fold down allowing things to poke through, or does the battery get in the way?

    Just drop by the Honda showroom and see for yourself. You may want to bring along a measuring tape. This is the best way.

    7 ft board will be very close with the seat folded down. maybe you should think about a roof rack
