Do you think restaurants in the UK are over-priced?
Favourite answer:Without question I do.....what makes matters worse is that the service and quality of food aren't getting any better. It's now much cheaper to cook your own meals at home. They're nicer and it's certainly a lot cheaper.

How much do I need to take to Zizzi?
Favourite answer:Look online at the particular branch they will be going to. I often meet a friend at a Zizzi outside London, and at that branch the prices are lower than at the London ones. There are some sharing plates, which may be good value for a starter. Will they be having drinks, coffee?

Where to drink in Covent Garden?
There will be around 20 of us going to Covent Garden in a few weeks to drink for my Birthday.
I was wondering if there are any good bars or ones which I could maybe book a booth at, as there are so many of us? Cost doesn’t matter.Thank you.

Where in London was I? Help locating a restaurant...?
Hi all,
I was out and about with colleagues a few years ago and was pretty drunk. We decided to go for a meal and ended up at this very nice/fairly expensive Indian restaurant. I'd like to take the Mrs there one day but can't remember where it is. Can you help me find it?
Here's what I remember:
-It's in central London
-There's a courtyard.
-To the left, a set of outdoor wooden steps that take you up a floor (onto a platform that wraps around the courtyard)
-The Indian restaurant entrance is on the left as soon as you walk up the steps.
-Fairly large place with big round tables when you first enter.
-The courtyard has a place to drink within it as it was a warm night and there were loads of people outdoors drink. Standing on the steps also.
Thanks!

Any good takeaways open on Christmas Day in London?
Going away for Christmas. Will be getting takeaway, can't afford to book a table at a restaurant as I'm on a budget and I'm going by myself anyway for some peace. Indian or Chinese will do. Nothing special.
