2 AnswersCycling1 decade agoHas the G train reached the end of the Line.??
Gee, last season the players chaired Gehrig from the ground due to retirement. He should have stayed that way and taken up golf or some other less taxing sport.

5 AnswersAustralian Rules1 decade agoMore on AFL Footy Cards.?
Can't for the life of me understand why more of the cards are not available to the Sun/Herald readers.
Unless you are up at the Crack of Dawn, all the cards are swooped on. Anyone would think that they were a freebie, but they cost the collector $1.50 per set each day.
Anyone else buying these treasured items before the birds are up. ??
4 AnswersAustralian Rules1 decade agoIs Big Bad Barry getting close to retirement ?
Have noticed over the years that " long in the tooth" players who have slowed down, use the biff to try and cover up for a lack of skills.
Can anyone recall other players from the past who knocked an opponent out cold, when their career was coming to an end ?
9 AnswersAustralian Rules1 decade agoHow long before Essendon start the ballet lessons ?
Does anyone agree with me..
If a player wants to lessen his chances of getting a hamstring injury, he must do Ballet stretching exercises.
The game has changed, so the coaching methods must incorporate the ballet techniques or players will be sidelined for weeks on end. Mark McVeigh is another casuality to cop this injury when the legs are in the toughest last quarter of a match.
Maybe the onus is on the individual to stretch the hammies, rather than having it a group thing at the club on training nights.
3 AnswersAustralian Rules1 decade agoWill Essendon struggle this year ?
New players, New coach, New training methods, faster legs. Is there anything missing that could see them up there with the Cats ??
10 AnswersAustralian Rules1 decade agoCould AFL players be over trained ?

What would the Footy show be without him ???
16 AnswersAustralian Rules1 decade agoIs Nab cup needed by the players ??
Especially if they get injuries prior to the "Real" games.
It's starting to look like dis-interest by the players, and a case of they have to play nab, "so we will get it over with quickly."
