I just found this nifty device online - a digital recipe reader - for $300. I live by my ipod touch and am wondering if I should spend my money on the new device or wait and see if ipod is going to add some sort of recipe function to their device and/or if I could upload the recipe files currently as an app file or something similar? I really don't want to spend $300 on a separate device if I don't have to.

What are some good online feedback sites where you can post chapters of your work of fiction and get feedback from other writers? I used to participate in a fantasy/science fiction version hosted by the publisher Del Rey but I think they have discontinued that site and I'm also looking for general fiction.

I"ve been in Denver for about 7 months so I'm still learning the area. My parents will be visiting this week (staying in my small condo with me) and I have a feeling I'll need to strike out on my own for at least an afternoon and take it easy by catching up on some reading. Would love any suggestions on places I could go (the more scenic the better) either in the city or within an hour's drive where I could hang out for 2 - 4 hours without it being a hassle (i.e. being harrassed by a waiter that wants me to leave so he can get other customers in). I'm down for a library, bar, restaurant, park or any other public place.
