Q94:

Jim increases his pace by pushing harder backwards on the ground. The friction force opposing his motion remains constant at 55N. He accelerates at 1.2ms^-2. Jim has a mass of 65kg. What is the net force on Jim now?

The answer according to the textbook is 13N, I don't know how they got the answer

If there is a really long address, for example for a book on google books, would it be alright to use a shortened link in the bibliography or for referencing considering the information given besides the link?

I don't know much about databases however a school assignment requires me to link a database to a website. I am not sure how to do this or what the finished result is meant to look like. The teacher told us to use access to make the database and gave us links to tutorials, but that did not help much.

Could you tell me what I am expected to do and a rough idea of how to/links to tutorials.

Does anyone know a way to convert gimp brushes to photoshop quickly (like as a batch)? I am learning how to use photoshop at the moment, and still work faster and more fluently in gimp, but school laptops don't allow me to run exe files so I can't open gimp portable.

The best way I can think of is get a large canvas on gimp and then simply apply brushes on it, move the image to photoshop and make each gimp brush a photoshop brush there.

Also does anyone know any good video tutorials on how to use adobe illustrator?? A quick youtube search comes up with Adobe Illustrator CS5 Tutorial 1 | Quickstart! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8VEQHcJTolo) and I wonder if it is any good?

I got out of some website, probably wiki, that the best place would be at the start of the circuit. This makes sense, otherwise the electricity would be used by the components and could probably lower the component quality or something. No idea what side it starts on...

So my question is: Should the switch be placed at the negative or positive side of a direct powered circuit (in relation to the power source I guess) and why?

What is the difference between a cold joint and a dry joint, the sources I check seem not to be very clear of which is which. Also I have to find 4 soldering problems, and as you can see, I can only identify 3. Not sure what it is called but I am guessing it has to do with time or lack of solder.

When it covers the copper, it is meant to stop oxygen from contacting the copper. It is similar to syrup in colour but is not sticky. After a bit the oil dries once applied on the copper. I used it on whilst trying to make a printed circuit board in school. Just wondering what oils can be used to do this. Done in electronics glass and took about ten minutes to dry. Was a very small amount. Came in one of those rectangular boxes that honey can be stored in.

At school, we had a project where we made a circuit. It involved printing a circuit board or whatever it is called. Now we have to write how we did that and I am not really sure what were the solutions used.

First we use dipped steel wool into a transparent liquid and rubbed it on the copper surface*. This was to stop the surface from oxidising.

Next we drew the circuit on the board and coloured it in with a pen**

We then put the circuit in an acid after it had dried. This was to take the copper off.***

Then we put the steel wool on the copper part again with the same substance****

After that we covered the copper in a thick syruppy substance to avoid further rusting or something*****

Name the substances in each part if possible?? * and **** could be vinegar and ** isn't a solution. People called it dailo or something like that. The main base of the pcb was fibreglass. Sorry if it is wrong category... not really sure where this would fit

Not sure if this includes images or not (HTML obviously cannot make images, but it can use them obviously). The teacher told us our next assignment (months later) would include making a website out of pure HTML. I was wondering if you could tell me what HTML can do, without using JAVA or CSS or anything else.

I mainly use VLC media player but for this school project, I need it to work on school computers (which use WMP). This is an mp4 which I rendered as a mp4, last setting on Sony Vegas Pro. When I play it, there is no sound and the volume mixer shows that no sound is coming out. Works fine on VLC as I said.

Note sure if this is write, but I am doing an assignment about buying stuff for commerce. Can you use pre-ground coffee beans in a semi automatic coffee machine.

What program would you use to put your frames together for frame by frame animation? Lets say you have 3000 images and you want to put them together to make a video (mp4 or other program readable by windows 7 w/ either VLC or windows 12 media player). I need a program that can change the duration of each clip so the duration can be 0.1 seconds a frame or 0.03 seconds a frame. The programs I have used are windows live and windows movie maker. WMM simply cannot get the images short enough and WLMM, when I save, adds seconds to the animation. This makes it hard to sync with the audio. And it does make a difference. Another program I faced w/ it is that it cannot support too many images (crashes before even 400) and I have to save in seperate scenes and then put the clip together. This adds on further timing errors.

Recently I begun recieving spam from someone who goes by Madison RANDOMLASTNAME. This surname changes everytime. It comes from a hungarian surver (ototex.hu) but has a random username each time. It just says spam but highlighting the text shows something along the lines of FILE NOT FOUND:/home/mailer/default/html/./users/admin2/emails/cambot/book100.txt repeated only book100 goes up by one number each time. I suspect it is just a shell though and the actual attack already occurred. Today I got a mail which said it was sent iin 2004. I only created my account this or last year and only noticed this last mail today. Also is there anythiing I can do, I sent a report or whatever it should be called to scamwatch but this was before this last email

I was wondering if it is possible to convert a clip into heaps of seperate images (so if you were to put them together they would form the clip again if they were put together at correct duration). Was looking for an image every 0.05 seconds or less if possible but not like 0.001 or 1.
