  • How many languages use the word "banana" or a similar sounding word?

I've heard that the word "banana" is the same in almost every language - is this true?

How many languages use the related word?

I know that the Chinese word for banana doesn't sound similar; what others are different?

  • Buying Blonde Hair Dye in China?

I have naturally dark/medium blonde hair and after living in China for while, I got tired of standing out so I dyed my hair brown while I was in Hong Kong. Only the dye was made for chinese hair and it washed out within a month leaving my hair an odd color. I can't got back to Hong kong (it's far away from where I live now) and I can't find anything but black or dark brown hair dye and the salons all tell me they can't do anything with my hair because my hair is different from asian hair. Is there any way to order or mail foreign hair dye to china? Or maybe any amazing import stores I don't know of, online or otherwise?

  • Is my 2 month old puppy sick?

I just got a puppy 3 days ago and I planned to take him to the vet this weekend for all of his shots but now I'm worried that something is seriously wrong. I've had dogs before but never puppies and I don't know how they act.

He sleeps a lot. Pretty much whenever I see him he's sleeping. I try to pick him up and he just goes right back down to sleep. I can't get him to walk. I put a leash on him and make him stand up and he won't walk at all. I have to carry him.

He eats very little, but drinks water. He seems to have less energy everyday, though I could be imagining it. My boyfriend tells me that when I go to work in the afternoon the puppy wakes up and is fairly active.Sometimes I look at him and think he's sleeping and then realize he's just lying there with his eyes open.

There was also one puppy in the same box as him that looked pretty sickly and wouldn't really move.

I'm terrified but everyone just tells me he's adjusting or still just a baby

  • How can I lose weight and eat out?

With my job, not only do I eat at restaurants twice a day, but I eat socially with my coworkers. This means that I eat greasy food with large portions. In my work area, I only have choices between Chinese food and McDonalds. I would order a salad or sandwich if it were an option. With little time to exercise, I’ve found myself slowly gaining weight. What can I do?
