Sign-in seals: why bother? Mine keeps disappearing....?
The seal is supposed to prevent phishing and validate you are on a real Yahoo site, but mine's disappeared 4 times in the past 24 hours. In effect, it functions as a red flag that Yahoo is having problems.
When it is NOT there, should I just not use Yahoo? Otherwise, what use is it?

I get captcha phrases to retype quite often and sometimes can't get them right. Now, twice, I have been refused for 'suspicious activity on your account' when I tried to email. One person suggested gmail, but I want to know if it is a systemic problem (all Yahoo customers) or a problem personal to me.

I did NOT run the cursor over the ad, it just dropped onto my "Compose" space. I tried opening the ad and then closing it, but it just kept the window open and kept showing more ads.
