  • How edit audio (music) track?

Using a simple microphone and her computer, my friend recorded a song performance in her bedroom. Unfortunately, it's nothing like a recording studio and the track sounds like it was recorded IN A BEDROOM. Poor acoustics, but the performance was good. The software I have available is Sound Forge Audio Studio and Movie Studio Platinum. How can I refine the sound so it sounds a bit more 'professional'? Please don't say 'rent recording studio session'. She can't afford that. Is there anything I can do to 'clean up' the track?

  • How will they enforce Obamacare?

Many people I know don't intend to comply, nor pay the fine. Some employed, some not, some on the books, some not. But most won't comply. How will the gov't enforce it? Also, I know many in military and law enforcement, they had informed me that they will REFUSE to goosestep door to door taking non-compliant people to jail, even if ordered by the gov't or superiors to do so. So I ask again, HOW will the gov't enforce non-compliance?

And if I'm off the books? How will the IRS hold back money they never give me anyways? I have spoken to people on the inside at the IRS. They informed me they do not have the man power to go after the 'little people' evading Obamacare. They can hardly keep up with the cases they already have, including people that don't even file. I've done research on this people... IRS gestopo fear tactics won't work. I got it already from the horses mouth. So again.. please answer the question without the IRS bs. What's to stop someone from impersonating an illegal immigrant? Their healthcare is free. Just tell them you don't have any US ID. Don't believe me? Ask people in California and New York.

Please chime in if you will volunteer to put on the jackboots.

  • iPhone songs to ringtones problem..?

Followed online instructions to convert song to ringtone for my iPhone. Converted song to ACC, 30 sec long, renamed to m4r. Copied to iPhone 'Tones' list. Ringtone is there, but in grey with small circle with arrows icon next to it. Its in 'songs' on iPhone, but not on 'Ringtones' list. Device was synced with iTunes. Can't get the ringtone to work. Any ideas?

  • Car interior LED lights question..?

I want to install just ONE interior LED pod under the dash of my car. Nothing too overpowering. I want this LED pod to come on the same as my interior dome light. (turns on when the door is open, and off when door is shut. THATS IT) Is it just simply splicing into the dash wire and connecting the LED pod? How many LEDs can this work with? And do I need an extra fuse for this connection?

  • Painting miniatures tips..?

For any artists out there. I'm painting metal minis and need help with darkwashing. I've done research however, not happy with results. I used Future polish/water mix with acrylic paint. What paint/ink is best to mix in the darkwash (Testors, Americana, Tiyama, Vallejo)?? What brand works best? Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

  • I need examples of OPSEC failures...?

I am doing a report on OPSEC failures. Need a few examples that have occurred in recent history (within 2 years or so) regarding how bad operational security caused classified material to be leaked or loss of life/property damage. Terrorist related incidents are preferred.

  • finding Garmin Foretrex 201 waypoint....?

How do I input coordinates into the GPS to then navigate to that point? In the manual, there is a way to set 'waypoint' once you are ALREADY at that point. How do I navigate to points I have not yet been to?

  • Nikon Coolpix S560 camera help?

I've been familiar with digital cameras for years now. But I just got the Nikon (used a Sony before), I've read the manual, but I'm very disappointed with the quality of the shots. The resolution is at the highest setting (at 10 megpix). Many pics come out blurred. The Sony, which is a 6 mp and 3 years old, seems to take much sharper images. Does anyone else own a Nikon 560 that can give me some tips? Thanks!!

  • Cable TV box and TV hook up... ?

I have a cable box (converter) and HDMI cable going to my TV. Can I get a splitter for the cable going from cable box to TV and have it connected to another TV. I know the channel will be the same on both, but cable service tech support told me one TV will show all channels I subscribed for but the box will know there is a splitter and will only show basic cable channels on the second TV and I will have to pay for another cable box. Is this a scam to get me to buy another box? Seems the signal should be the same to both TVs.
