Not only the ignorance of scientific evidence, but the ignorance of all other possible gods which they often ridicule? Why is greek mythology "mythology", and christianity a "religion"

personally I don't belive in god or jesus christ, no disrespect to those that do, it's just not for me. Recently I've been having soo many people criticize me and try to push religion on me. I was raised methodist but as I got older realized I can force myself to believe it. Anyways, I don't push what I think on other people, unless you bring it up you'd never know, so how do you handle these people?
