  • I can't upload a pdf file to my web page?

I have a domain. I want to upload a simple pdf file (it's a 16 page pamphlet) that will just open up on my domain. How do I do this? the domain has a root directory to upload to. Do I need to convert to HTML? If so, how can I convert? Internet explorer doesn't show source code. I saved pdf to desk top and opened in the browser. Help!

  • How do I import a detailed graphic into pagemaker 6.0?

I love this new yahoo answers forum. I have an excel spreadsheet that has detailed information. I saved it as a jpeg, gif and pdf and tried using the "place" command to insert it into pagemaker 6.0. It comes out very badly, but when the file is viewed in MS Office picure, MS paint, or other such programs it appears fine. How do I get the same resolution in Pagemaker 6.0?

  • What is the most cost effective way to print my weekly newspaper?

Currently I'm printing a local paper out (about 200-300 copies of a 12 page newsweekly) on my office printer. It is taxing my printer, so I am looking into having it professionally printed. I looked into cold web printing. I will presumably be distributing around 1000 copies in two months. Size and paper quality aren't important, and there is no color involved.

What are some suggestions for cost effective ways to get this printed? I'd like to use newspaper quality paper as it seems a lot less expensive than bond and also gives the paper more 'gravitas'. Comments from professional printers are MOST welcome. Thanks!

  • How do I smooth out a wall that has been covered with popcorn finish?

The house was flipped, and to cover over defects (the house is 1920 three decker), the flipper covered the walls in three rooms with a popcorn finish and painted over them-they have a texture akin to a ceiling, but covered with a layer of paint. The period moulding and floorboards would be difficult to remove if I wanted new drywall. What are my options?

  • Can a roof patch ignite from the sun?

I applied Wet-n-dry black roof patch. Can the sun cause the patch to ignite if it gets hot enough, and should I apply a reflector coat?
