I have a 1994 Chevy Astro, and it needs the intake gasket replaced. My brother is willing to work on it, but wants to look up some info first. I have done random searches to try to find something, but all i am coming up with is different search engines. I have been w/o a car for almost 2 months, and in Michigan with 2 little kids, in Winter you gotta have wheels!! The repair guy wants $500.00 to fix it, and just cant do that right now. please be serious in your answers. Thank you in advance for any help!

first of all i will be taking my cat into the vet in the morning,now here's the details..my almost 3y/o cat has been breathing hard for the last 2 days,he was eating fine until last night.even drinking water.i have not seen him take 1 bite or drink 1 drop today,he seems weak,and just very tired.He is also losing weight,but didnt seem too bad untill about 2 days ago when he had these signs. as of this am he still wanted all his love,but when i called him a lil bit ago he got up as to come to me,but stopped looked at me then turned his head and ignored me.now he is hiding under my bed. he does NOT go outside and there are no other animals in the home. please don't give me crap about this i am looking for serious input as to what i may be looking at with him...as i said he will be in the vets office at 9 am,as soon as they open! thanks to anyone who can give a serious answer.
