  • Help-really smelly discharge but doctor keeps saying I'm fine?

I noticed it about 6 weeks after having unprotected sex with my boyfriend. It has now been about 3 months and it hasnt gone away.

I got all the tests but nothing shows up, no sti's, no infections.

Its clear/white and watery. And it has a VERY very strong odour, a bit like fish maybe I dont know just bad. And I am not the only one who can smell it.

The doctor thought my discharge looked normal, but it just is definitely not normal, not for me. Being this smelly can not be normal. I have to change my underwear several times a day due to the smell. It's worse when I exercise or have sex.

I am so frustrated I just want to get rid of it. I was actually hoping it would show up an infection so I could just take antibiotics and it would be gone. Now I don't know what to do.

I have never had this problem before now

It makes me so self conscious that other people think I stink

  • plan b- should i ignore the instructions?

I had sex a few times and he pulled out.

But the last time, he left it pretty late to pull out and I think some sperm would be inside me

I want to take plan b. I need to take it today for it to be within 72 hours.

But it says on the packet not to take it if you have had unprotected sex more than 72 hours ago because you might already be pregnant.

I looked online at the info on plan b though and it says plan b wont cause you to miscarriage or damage the baby at all if im already pregnant.

so why cant i take it then?

I really want to still take it. my partner and i are both unemployed so cant have a baby right now.

Should i ignore the packet and take it? Because it would be more likely i fell pregnant from the time he came inside me than the slim chance when he pulled out in time right??

  • Taking morning after pill/plan b when possibility of already pregnant?

A few days ago my partner and I had sex and he pulled out but I wasnt convinced that he did it very well- he left it to the last second because he didnt time it well. I said 'did you pull out in time' and he said yes but Im not convinced. He tends to leak a fair bit just before he ejaculates, and he definitely spilled some on my vulva. I didnt think much of it but the next day I found lots of dried semen all over my crotch as well. I decided to get the morning after pill... it will be 72 hours tonight so I'm still within the time frame if I take it today.

But when I read the instructions it says not to take it if you've had unprotected sex earlier than 72 hours ago, as you might already be pregnant.

My partner and I had unprotected sex a few times in the week prior, but I thought he did a good job of pulling out.

I feel like there's a very slim chance I'd fall pregnant from those times, but a much higher chance I'd fall pregnant from the last time we had sex.

Should I ignore the instructions and take the plan b?

I did some research and plan b doesnt do any damage to the embryo if you are already pregnant, doesnt cause miscarriage or anything like that, so I'm not sure why they say not to do it...

Its really important I dont fall pregnant. My partner and I are both unemployed, broke, and not ready to be parents for a long time.

But it seems wrong to go against the instructions on the packet...

Its a public holiday in australia so I cant ask my doctor and tomorrow it will be too late

  • How often is normal to see/call your boyfriend, is he clingy?

This is my first serious relationship as Im the kind of girl who was always perfectly happy single. But, I am now with a guy who I really like. The thing is, he calls everyday sometimes several times a day. Sometimes he will want to see me, when I just saw him yesterday. Is that normal or is that clingy? My reaction when I see him calling is usually to ignore it and I think "leave me alone"... although I do that with all my friends and family as I'm introverted! I just dont feel the need to see or speak to him everyday.

But how do I tell him that without hurting his feelings, and without making him think I don't like him as much as he likes me?

  • Can I go surfing, drink alcohol etc if I'm still waiting to do a pregnancy test?

I took the morning after pill about 36 hours after we had sex, although he didnt fully *** inside me only a little bit, I just wanted to take the morning after pill to be extra safe. I was told that it was 75% effective. So thats still a one in four chance I could be pregnant right? I'm going to do a pregnancy test next week. But should I just live as if I am not pregnant like continue life as normal? I'm a surfer and drink alcohol in moderation. Would surfing damage the baby?

  • Why am I still trembling 2 days after losing my virginity?

I consented. But it was really difficult, painful, and I was really upset. we had to stop cos I was crying so much. Then afterwards I felt like sobbing and I was really shaky and wobbly like it was hard to walk.

Now its 2 days later and i'm still trembling in my hands and feel like I hate him and dont want to see him/talk to him, avoiding his calls, even though he hasnt done anything wrong. I dont know whats wrong with me

Im also still sore and really tight and tense down there- is that normal?

  • Is my new boyfriend a jerk, should I be upset about this?

We had sex for the first time, didnt use a condom but I'm on the pill, then afterwards he told me "oh yeah, I need to get an STI check. so from now on we should use a condom"

Is this a sign that he doesnt really care about me?

It was my first time and I feel really betrayed and hurt that he would expose me to a disease

  • How do I stop my thighs making loud farting noises?

I had no idea what section to put this question in

Sometimes when I wear a skirt or a dress without tights underneath, just bare legs touching together..

And I sit down quickly, or change my position quickly, my thighs make this enormous farting noise- it is seriously so loud and sounds like the hugest fart. All the fat on my inner thighs wobble which makes the sound. It is so weird and embarrassing.

Is it because my thighs are too fat? I dont get it. I'm actually quite slim. (BMI 19) I tried googling it but nothing came up, maybe Im the only person this happens to?

  • How do you exercise regularly when your sore from previous workout?

I am constantly having this problem.

I want to exercise every day with one rest day a week, but do gentle yoga or a walk on rest day. But on the other 6 days how do I still workout when I am really sore?

At the moment I do mostly cycle class, weights, power yoga and hatha yoga. It is power yoga that leaves me sorest.

Also, sometimes I am so sore that it takes longer than 1 day before I feel like I can exercise again.

Do you just push through the pain and keep working out, or take more rest but not get as much exercise and slower progress/results? And if you push through the pain, does that mean you just get used to the pain as a regular thing? I am fairly fit I'm not new to exercising or anything, but always trying to work harder and improve. Any advice?

  • should I go to the police?

My brother is 30 years old and is rough with me. It has caused problems between us basically all my life but more so since I was 18 and things turned worse. I am 26 now. He doesnt full on give me black eyes or anything like that.

Yesterday we were grocery shopping it was me, my mum, my little brother and my older brother. My mum was asking me for help and we were talking and I guess my older brother got jealous because he walked up and headbutted me on my shoulder/upper arm. It really hurt. I dont think he meant for it to hurt that much, but it hurt a lot. Today I have a bruise. This is nothing compared to things he has done in the past but lately I have been getting more and more fed up. This is by no means unusual behaviour for him.

When he head butted me my mum told him off but he doesnt take any notice whatsoever, he just makes jokes and he is the kind of guy that say if he punches me and I say "Stop it, your hurting me" then he will do it again just to prove a point. If I dont say anything, then he wont do it again.

In the past I have told him that if he doesnt stop there would be consequences and I am willing to go to the police if that means that it will finally make him sit up and take notice that this isnt ok.

But is this stupid? I mean, its not even that big of a bruise.

Also, I am worried about how it will affect him as he's not in a good state of mind at the moment, very depressed.

I have moved out of home and really limited how much I see my brother but it is hard because I still want to have relationships with the rest of my family and they want him around.

    Please help!

  • I think I'm getting varicose veins! I'm only 26 what do I do?

On the inside of one of my calves I have blue veins sticking out pretty noticeably. They have only developed recently. My mum doesnt have varicose veins at all but my grandma has them really bad. Could I have inherited them from my grandma and it skipped my mum?

I can't think of any other reason because I exercise and I'm fairly slim.

I always thought varicose veins would be a part of getting older, but I can't believe I'm already seeing them! Is that normal to get them this young?

What can I do to stop them from getting bad? Are there any easy things I can do now before it gets worse? My brother told me to drink more water but I dont know if he's just making that up..

  • How do I get a date with my friend's brother?

One of my best friends has an older brother (who is actually the same age as me) and he is really nice. We are in our 20's. I have always been kind of interested in him and would say a few jokes to my friend about being with him eg. if I married him we would be sisters, etc and she would always laugh and say how great that would be, but I wasnt sure if she really meant it or not.

My friend's parents really love me and love it when I come over, I am always at their house :) And I know they would be really happy if we were together.

My friend told me recently how much her brother needs a girlfriend, and how he is looking for someone.

The problem is, he and I don't ever see each other on our own. (So I never get a chance to flirt..)

How do I tell my friend I'm kind of interested in her brother?

..I have nothing to say he is actually interested in me. But I figure why not give it a shot and find out?

  • I am so angry at my friend, what should I do?

We used to be pretty good friends, were there for one another. Then she got a boyfriend and our main mutual friend moved away, and so I saw less and less of her because she was always with her boyfriend. Then I literally never saw her for about a year. Until the last 2 weeks I have seen her a couple of times and each time she waves at me, then I'll be all like "HEY!" and then she just completely ignores me. turns away, doesnt even say hello. just completely blows me off. If she doesnt want to talk to me, why does she wave at me though? Why not just ignore me altogether. It's so weird, and this just makes me feel like ****.

The next time I see her should I just ignore her back?

  • periods- is this possible?

I had not gotten a period for 5 months and was due this week to get all sorts of tests and stuff because I was really worried. I had never even had a period come late before this. I started thinking maybe its because my diet isnt great, so for the past week I've been taking multivitamins. Then today, after 5 months, it came! Is it because of the vitamins or just a coincidence? And should I still go get all the tests?

  • I'm embarrassed to announce my pregnancy?

I am already 20 weeks pregnant and only just found out I'm pregnant. I know that sounds crazy, like how could I not know? But I honestly didnt. My period didnt come at all but my period has stopped for long periods of time in the past so it wasnt that abnormal. I used to have anorexia so no periods for a long time. Also I was on the pill and had just gotten off it and my doctor said it takes a while for your periods to get back to normal.

And the weight gain, I thought was just a part of me recovering from anorexia!

Anyway, I found out I'm pregnant and already 5 months along. So its going to come as a huge shock to people. I'm not even in a relationship. Should I tell people the real reason I havent announced it til now or just say I was letting it sink in or something? Or waiting for the right time? Or waiting until I couldnt hide it anymore!?

  • How much money can I expect to make selling AVON at college?

Just looking for a simple estimate.

    $20 a month? $100?

At my uni there is no one selling AVON and about 80% are asian most of them international students, not being racist at all but a lot of them seem to wear a lot of makeup and cuz we're students obviously we need cheaper stuff so maybe it would sell.

  • My period has stopped- since being vegetarian?

I already asked this in the vegetarian/vegan section but thought I'd find better answers here.

I have been living with a vegetarian family for 10 months, and have also not had dairy since being diagnosed lactose intolerant 7 months ago.

I have not had a period for almost 6 months now. My last periods were very light and only lasted for one day before stopping altogether.

I am a healthy weight. Which is ironic because I used to struggle with an eating disorder and never skipped a single period. Now after a year of being a healthy weight (but not eating meat or dairy) my periods stop?

In the home I live in all my meals are provided as I am a live in nanny. The parents are raw vegan and the kids are lacto-vegetarian. There is no meat, fish or dairy. I have soy milk in my tea & coffee. Occasional eggs, beans, tofu- maybe one serve of protein per day. Very little dark green vegetables. Almost never have seeds or nuts. I eat lots of grains and starches now and feel a lot better eating this). I often dont have any fruit in a day. I take a multi vitamin.

Could my loss of period be from my change in diet this year? What do I need to eat more of to be healthy? (I cant start eating meat as its forbidden in the home and no dairy as I'm intolerant, but what else?)
