Should I buy Dr Martens, Uggs or Kickers?

Met a lady today with a fab pair of lime green leather, velcro fastening shoes. They had a piranha logo on a little label on the side. Does anyone know the brand or where I could get a pair? I will ask her if I ever see her again!

Does anyone have a 2 man pop up tent that doesn't require pegging down or guy ropes as I want to use it indoors?

My friend needs both knees replacing. She is trying to decide whether to have both done together or each separately. Could anyone with experience of this please offer some advice.

She is young (45), has 3 primary school aged children and a husband who needs to work.

Today we viewed a property "in need of some modernisation". It is at the very top end of our budget, even if we get it for a knock down price it would still be all our money gone.

My husband and I both loved the property and were not fazed by the amount of work to be done.

It is live-able at the moment but we'd have to live in it as it is for a year before we could afford to do anything. Manky kitchen, manky bathroom, no central heating (Convectors!) rotting windows, the list goes on! And we've got 4 children aged 1 to 6.

Has anyone done this and survived? Is it worth it? Would you do it again?

Planning a camping holiday for August 2009. Will be travelling down to Narbonne on the Motorail. 2 Adults, 4 Children.

Any advice on whether France or Spain. Speak both languages equally well.
