I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and live in a state where cold and wet are the normal...?
My question is...does anyone know if moving to a warm dry climate actually help relieve the pain or is that all a bunch of balderdash? On a scale of one to ten for pain...most of the fall/winter/spring I would say I go between a 12 and a 60.
I have tried anti inflamitories, pain blockers, and alternative meds...with little relief.
3 AnswersPain & Pain Management1 decade agoNew Kitten with an eye problem?
I just adopted a kitten who is six to eight weeks old and was born feral.
He is quite debilated with a touch of pnuemonia and is underweight. He has an eye problem that the vet is not sure if it is just an infection or what. She gave me eye drops to give him three times a day, and it looks to be on the mend, but is very swollen, red and crusts over easily.
I have been bathing the sore eye with disposable cotton pads and warm water to wash away the crustyness and help ease the pain.
My question is...does anyone have any suggestions to further ease this sore eye problem?
He is on amoxicilian (two doses a day), and just had his first vet visit complete with baby shots.
He is eatting very well, drinking well and using the litter box ffrom day one too!
Thank you for any advice you can give me to help him.
PS He will be getting neutered as soon as the Vet says he can, and even though he is a total indoor Kitty, he will NOT be de clawed because I think that declawing is evil.
17 AnswersCats1 decade agoVets in Mid Michigan?
A friend who is trying to care for some feral cats in his rural area apt. has found two small kittens. These kitties are only a few weeks old and too young to survive a harsh Michigan winter out of doors. We have agreed to offer a home to one of the kittens, and are looking for an inexpensive vet to give the kitty a well baby check up and it's first shots. We have a senior citizen cat already and the baby must have a check up before we can expose our established cat to the new one. We have tried animal rescue, but, they are more expensive than our old private vet (who recently moved out of state so we cant use her either)
Any suggestions?
2 AnswersCats1 decade agoWhat is the best way to get people to visit my web store?
I have an established brick and morter store with an almost thirty year history.
I started my web store a year ago, and even though I have had more than a thousand hits , I have only made one sale.
This is a jewelry site.
Where should I advertise to attract customers and not just "tire kickers"?

While walking down a country lane, you meet a troll. She is in desperate need of honor and offers to buy yours from you for a sum a gold. Name that sum!
6 AnswersOther - Family & Relationships1 decade agoAs your walking down the street, a Majik Elf jumps out in front of you....?
She tells you that you have been selected for a majik treat!
You can have three wishes...ONLY three though (sorry no wishing for more wishes..tis agains the Elf Union Rules)
The only other condition about the wishes is that they must be totally selfish and benifit you first and foremost.
Oh and you only have ten minutes to make all three wishes or you get NONE of them.
Okay, now what do you wish for?
1 AnswerOther - Entertainment1 decade agoWhy do ALL religious fanatics feel the right to sit in judgment of the thoughts and actions of everyone else?
Is this a form of Obsesive Compulsive Disorder? Can they not help themselves?
Or
Do you think that religion just attracts close minded people?
I have read the King James version from start to finish, and I dont recall anywhere in the Bible it saying that God needs/wants man/woman to sit in judgment of others. In fact the bible I read says over and over again for man/woman to love one and other as Christ loves us.
By the way, I have read the books of other religions, and I think this is a common thread in all of them. Why cant people be kind to one and other?
