  • What makes a TRUE AFL club supporter??

OK.. so this is the QUESTION that got reported...

please if you have a problem with it mail me or something!

.. and nrl people stick to your own section.

So anyways, what make a true supporter?

ok, so I'm not saying this is it as such.. but here's how I go about supporting my club!

I try to go to as many games as possible...

I try to buy membership every year.. helping the club financially!

When I go to a match..

I support my club no matter if they're 200 points up or 200 points down or somewhere in between.

I don't put down my players or club when they make mistakes AND I'm not biased towards my club. (I know they're not perfect.. and I know that say, Geelong is a better team at the moment!)

    other things..

I don't change clubs.. or I don't stop following them or deny I am a supporter just because they are doing bad.

I don't always tip my team cos even the top teams lose a game or two.

ok.. so I can't think of anything else right now..

So what do you guys & girls think?

  • Tell me about some good experiences you've had at the footy! (Here's mine from tonight!)?

for Yahoo's sake.. if it were a question.. it'd go something like..

What's your favourite footy experience? (as a spectator ONLY!)

    So Tonight..

StKilda vs Carlton, MCG, Round 15, 11/7/2008

So my sister and I sit down at the footy at about 7:30 and everything's "Go Blues" because we are sitting next to (near enough) the Carlton cheer squad (ccs). Siren goes for the start and soon enough the Saints are 2 goals down. naturally the ccs are being very loud.. but when the saints kick two goals of there own there is not much noise.

So for the rest of the match I (and my sister) decide I'll be as loud as possible.

The second quarter is even until the last 5-10mins where StKilda kick ahead of the Blues and the cs fall very silent.

3rd Quarter and the Saints add to more goals to their lead and Carlton people are getting quite annoyed with the match.

So the last quarter, Carlton 33 points down at 3/4 time. But the first 15 mins of the last are all CArlton and again everyhting is like...

  • Can someone please explain what happened in my question?

    The question was...

"What do YOU think makes a TRUE supporter (of you club)?"

(it's meant to say 'youR' club by the way, typo!)

What happened... I got off my computer when there were 7 answers and all seemed fine... I come back today and when I logged in it says "alert (-10 points)" in the bit where your av, username, points and level is...

so then I check my questions, and that question had been removed!!

SO, what happened?? Somewhere in those last 10 answers someone has said something that was reported..

what was it? what was whoever's problem?

    it was a sensible question!!

  • An e-mail I got - Please Help. (What do you think?)?

Hi everyone! I got this email...

From: Holita Johnson (A yahoo questions user)

    Subject: You closeted crossdresser!

Message: How could you possibly be straight, right now? You secretly want to be a heterosexual woman just like all the other queens and drag queens. But, just like a man, you're too lazy, cheap, and horny to get the surgical procedure done.

Naturally I replied, to pint out how incorrect this person is.

    Some of it here...

"you ask: How could you possibly be straight, right now?

Well, let me explain this for you...

I'm a male. I am straight. Straight for Males means that Straight Males like Females.

The clothes I choose to and/or like to wear have nothing to do with this. Clothes don't change a person's sexuality.

Gay men wear men's clothes and Lesbian (or gay, whichever you choose to say) women wear women's clothes as well. Does wearing clothes that are associated to your own gender automatically make you straight? No, I don't think so! ..and it's no different..

  • Have you ever tried...?

...Both Guys and Girls Skinny Jeans???

I'm a guy, who tried on lots of Skinnies (at shops) last week. I'm also a crossdresser and I tried girl's skinny jeans as well and the girls fit was more comfortable and heaps better than the guys.

The only problem was was the girl's skinnies slipped when I bent over.

Has anyone here ever tried guys AND girls skinny jeans?

...if you have, which did you find better and more comfortable?

and add anything else you feel like mentioning as well :D

Also want to mention I went to Chadstone shopping centre to try on girls skinny jeans and the shop assistants in Sportsgirl, Just Jeans, Forever New, General Pants Co., Jeans West, Bardot and Dotti were all fiendly, excellent (at their job) and helpful as well!

Also, please see my other questions as well ;)

  • What's your favourite brand of......???

    1) Leggings?

    2) Skinny Jeans?

Please - only brands that are available in Australia.

You can add details as well, like full length or 3/4 leggings (I prefer full length) or maybe back pocket stitching on skinny jeans or colours etc.

For me, My favourite leggings are

    Country Road, Portmans and Voodoo.

Also, Skins compression tights as well

and I don't have any skinny jeans yet! :(

    But I will soon! ;)

  • Who's been to Chadstone Shopping Centre - 'The Fashion Capital' ?? :D (Melbourne, Australia)?

    Hello!

    First (set of) Questions are..

Have you been to Chadstone? And how good is it?!! :D

Ok, but the real question is....

I know I've asked before but I'll try again...

Are there any girls who live in Melbourne, who would like to help a 19yo (private) crossdresser to go shopping and to help with fashion tips?

I'm a pretty normal guy, except for my 'secret', and I wouldn't be wearing any girl's clothes while in public. I'm asking because I'm still a little shy and embarrased to be shopping for womens tops and skirts etc. and I could really do with some advice on what's hot and what's not :)

So, I would really appreciate it, if there are any Melbourne girls who are willing to help ^.^

If not, you can just answer the first question ;)

  • Should I wear my Ballet Flats in Public?

I am a 19yo straight crossdresser. I only crossdress in private though.

Not long ago I bought some beautiful Ballet Flats :D

    http://www.payless.com/Catalog/productdetail.aspx?...

exactly like those ones except the brand is American Eagle (is American Eagle the same as SmartFit Millie? It seems so!)

I've worn them when I have the chance (mostly at night time).

But I would love to step out in these shoes under my male clothes. I'd go out somewhere far from home or the city, so not to 'run into' someone I know.

    So, I want to know

Do you think I should wear my Ballet Flats out in public?

And what would you're reaction be/ what would you think to yourself if you saw a 'normal' guy except wearing Ballet Flats?

Or would you come up and say something to me?

BTW, I live in Melbourne and if there are any Melbourne girls who would like to help me shopping for women's clothes, please send me a mail! :)

  • I've always wondered... about bi-girls/guys?

I've always wondered if bi-sexual girls or guys would prefer a crossdresser?

I've come to learn and understand that a straight girl usually is not interested in a crossdressser because straight girls like their men masculine and a lesbian girl is not interested in a crossdresser because they are attracted to 'real' girls and not guys. But wouldn't the ideal partner for a bi-sexual girl be a crossdresser because he could adjust to the mood that the bi-sexual girl is in? ie If the bi girl feels like being with a girl, the crossdresser would be more than happy to dress up as a girl and vice versa (minus the 'dress up' part).

note: this question is written from my point of view as a straight crossdressing male and is generally directed toward bi-sexual girls. But, if any bi-sexual guys wanna answer (as the question is effectively the same for bi-girls and guys) go right ahead! :D

  • In Melbourne, is there anyone who would like to help?

    Hi!

I'm a 19yo crossdresser looking for any women who would like to help me go clothes shopping, please?

I've asked whether there are women who would help and I got some positive responses so I know there are, but I need someone in Melbourne.

I only crossdress in private and aside from that I'm a normal guy - I love going out with my mates (none of them know), love AFL, I have a job etc. and besides from what I hear, girls love shopping, so it should be fun! :)

So anyways, if you are open minded, have a little spare time, would like to meet someone new (and a little bit different), love shopping and live somewhere in Melbourne please, Please send me an email to either my yahoo OR my hotmail dark_secret23@hotmail.com

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

  • AFL season 2008 Prediction?

    Hey people!

Kinda new to the AFL Yahoo Questions section but I certainly know my footy and I'm not biased any.

So post how you think the ladder will look at the end of Round 22 and maybe add a few comments on why some teams will be better/worse than others... here's mine

    1. Geelong

    2. St Kilda

    3. Hawthorn

    4. Port Adelaide

    5 West Coast

    6 North Melbourne

    7 Adelaide

    8 Sydney

    9 Essendon

    10 Collingwood

    11 Fremantle

    12 Carlton

    13 Western Bulldogs

    14 Brisbane

    15 Richmond

    16 Melbourne

I'm really uncertain of exactly where to place 7th-13th but that looks about right. I think Fremantle are the most over-rated team in the comp and Adelaide are under-rated. The top 4 there are genuine chances for the premiership.

    well make your predictions ;)
