Hey Guys, So Im a year 8 student from India and this year, I'll be in grade 9 or 3rd year highschool there in the philippines. Im going to study at University of St.Lasalle Bacolod. Im fluent in Illonggo, I can understand Tagalog though I can't really speak it fluently :(

I was born in the Philippines, But studied here in India since 2010. Now, I really don't know their way of teaching there..

So, can you please tell me how teachers teach there in the philippines? Are the students friendly?

And please tell me what do you learn in grade 9 Mathematics, Science and English..

first of all, we were living a very peaceful life because my dad was living abroad, well now he's here on a ******* vacation and he'll make our 1 month a living hell!!!

so i was sleeping today, it was 7 in the morning, I heared my mom and dad fighting over a handkerchief! well, My dad always starts the fight. Not to mention he's very irritating and he doesn't even know how to speak gently, He always talks loudly! And he keeps calling my mom a motherfucker! I can't stop crying. He slapped my mom in the ears, and now, she can't hear properly, he slapped her so hard that she was about to fall down and hit her head.

what shall i do now? should I tell him that I hate it when he fights over the silliest things??

My mom can't divorce him because it's not common in our culture to give divorce.. And, They'll never divorce each other. They had an arranged marriage :/

Im 13 and Im stuck at home and I feel that my life is just sitting behind the computer screen and chat with my friends on facebook. Im good in studies and I have straight A's. I have friends at school but Im not that type who's very loud and loves to socialize with people around them. I think that I live in my own world. I sometimes would even wish that why could I just have no friends at all and live life without other's consent.I don't want to be like this in the future.

So my question is am I normal, or what?

So, im 13 years old and i started a conversation 3 days ago with this guy, he's 12 years old turning 13 next 2 months..

even though we've never meet each other, i love it everytime i chat with him on facebook and he does too.

i have this feeling that i don't wanna close my laptop and just chat with him for hours..and he's also sweet.( but i'm not in love with him, Duh! i treat him as a friend)

we share everything,talk about anything and he tells me everything openly like a friend.

he always compliments me that i'm cute, pretty, etc..

and then today, we have a deep conversation with each other and then all of a sudden he wrote that "i'll tell you something, promise me you won't get mad at me,"

then i said, well, it depends,

so i am full-blooded indian, my parents are born in india, and when they were 24 years old, they migrated to philippines. (they are 53 now btw..)

so i was born and raised in the philippines for 10 years. ( im 13 now) i'm fluent in Ilonggo because that's my mother tongue.But i only understand tagalog but i have difficulty speaking it now since im here in india.

So, will i be considered indian citizen or filipino citizen?

My mom said that we are only immigrants in the philippines. and that we are of indian citizen.

but why is that?

does it have to do with the law in the philippines?

I really want to have a dual citizenship so that i'll not have any problems regarding applying jobs in both countries.

I am 13 years old and i study in 7th grade. i do good at school too and i have A's and sometimes B. i really wan't to be a psychologist when i grow up. Will i be able to work hard and achieve my goal? I know all of you will say yes easily, but i have a really low self esteem. and Im also worried about my future. im asking this because Im very worried that what if i'll not be able to graduate like my elder sister.She's 26 now and is still studying.She was a very smart student.But when she was diagnosed with major depressive disorder, she can't concentrate on her studies and has failed many times. But now, she is completely fine and is on her 3rd year of college doing Bachelor of Education.

So i'm really worried, will i be able to do well in the future? i know that's impossibe to predict the future but do you think that i can be a psychologist? i really want my parents to be proud of me and i wan't to help people who suffer from mental diseases.

just curious to know because i myself an indian born in the phiippines, and i'm fluent in speaking the language.

so i am asking this question now because my cousins who are older than me,( we have 3-5 years age gap) haven't seen their mom for four years because she hasn't pay any visit here in india. their mom is currently working there in the philippines. my cousin who is five years older than me said that i don't care about her anymore (MOM). she is really mad at her because she has the money and the access to go to india but still she won't go because she can't deal with her in laws who are staying there in india. (my cousin lives in a joint family with their grandma,grandpa,uncles,aunts,cousins)and not only she hasn't seen her, she hasn't even spoken to her for the past 4 years. no internet access, no face to face conversations, calls, no! she is damn mad at her.and not only she haven't seen her mom for the past 4 years, but also her small brother. i think if i would be in her place, i have the right to be mad at my mom.but my cousin who is 3 years older than me and who is the younger sister of my older cousin misses her mom and often cries because she misses her and her little brother.but she just arrived here in india last year,it's been around 8 months since she's here.

so do you think that their mom is very selfish for not visiting her daughters? well, i know that she has the money but now, she's busy with her work and doesn't want to go anywhere else. and her daughters are living a very bad life with their joint family. they are always backbitten, treated unequally and are discriminated due to their gender.(they're female and females here in india are inferior to boys.). i have to admit that i do wan't to help my cousins but their family is just the worst family on this planet. and the fact that they discriminate them because of their gender, is really horrible.my cousin even cuts herself and her cuts are so deep that blood will just be flowing non-stop.their joint family never cares for them and they treat them as maids in the house.

so what do you think about their situation?

and what do you think about their mom? is she selfish or not?

i really want to help my cousins, and can you please suggest me some ways to help them without letting their joint family know about this?
