Why does it seem like every gay guy I talk to online is just after casual sex? Even the ones who claim to be looking for a relationship still feel it's okay to "have fun while waiting for the right guy to come along". Personally, the idea of having sex with someone I have no feelings towards, disgusts me.

Is this just the way things are everywhere, or is it just the guys in the city I live in? Is it possible to meet guys *near my age* who are interested in dating and getting to know each other, without having to go to seedy nightclubs/bars? I've pretty much come to the conclusion that it's best to accept the fact that most guys are too "slutty" (for lack of a better word) for my tastes, and I'm better off being single. Is this really supposed to be the destiny of a gay man who isn't into casual sex?
