I have a friend who owes me $110 and when I asked her about it she said that I should not ask her for the money because I know she is very broke and I have a lot of money so why do I need it? WTF? I don't want to lose the friendship over this because we also work together and make the same money (but my husband makes a lot of money and hers doesn't) but she initially asked to just borrow it and when I asked for it back she acted like I am the bad guy!

It sucks that she is broke, but I am not rich, my husband makes a lot but we have a lot of debt. She doesn't understand what debt is, she says "just don't pay it."

I just want my Benjamin without a big deal out of this.

I know this because they also don't always flush.. and i see yellow pee in the toilet with no TP. Which leads me to ask them, "Did you wash your hands?" No.... This has been going on for at least a year now, but I thought I resolved the issue by having them tell me that they are going to the bathroom each time and reminding them of the wipe flush wash routine.. you would think they got it by now.. I am thinking that I will have them come tell me each time they go to the bathroom still but by handing them TP and then after hearing a flush and they will come tell me they are done, checking that their hands smell like soap. That is all I can think of besides literally standing there while they do their business..

Any other suggestions?

Before we got dogs we made the decision to feed raw food for several reasons. For convenience, we have chosen a raw frozen patty brand that costs aprox. $2.63 each. My two dogs need 5 patties a day combined. That comes out to be $13.15 a day in dog feeding alone.. that is $400 monthly!

Is there a better alternative? Better means: At least 95% RAW meat. Not kibble, no gluten, no grain. Something I can buy at least a weeks worth at a time or more (I don't mind freezing it). Something that is as EASY to prepare as prepackaged 1/2 lb patties or very close to just as easy.

They need a total of 2.5 lbs a day.

Any suggestions would be great.

My family of 5 lives in Florida and their dad lives in California. My husband (step-dad) is very angry at me for letting them go to CA for 6 weeks this summer. But I tell him that they want to go and it looks bad on me in the court system if I refuse reasonable visitation.

He is concerned with the crime in the area they will live (which the safety rating is a 1 out of 10 and here is a 10 out of 10). He is concerned their behavior will be horrible when they come back (if they come back, he says).

He is basically saying I am stupid for letting this happen, etc, etc. I just need some opinions on kids visiting their biological dad for the summer.

I am trying to plan a quarterly budget instead of a monthly one. I have the ability to get up to 4 months pay at a time but I just figured that I may be taxed more if I do that. Can someone help me figure out how to calculate the taxes and if it would outweigh the monthly interest rates on my finances?

And why? Also feel free to add any details like what kind of job, where you'd live, etc...

I have been able to slightly control my dreams for years now, but last night I was deciding to do stuff and I had really good control for a long time.

For example, I wanted to fly up to the ceiling and swing around on the light fixture, and I did that and as I was doing that, no one was paying me any attention, so I was yelling, "I am dreaming and all of you are my subconscious and not real I can do anything I want and no one cares!" There was more, but it would take too long to write and no one would probably care.. so maybe this is a dream too.. ooohhh weird

I personally think she made up his profile herself and that he doesn't really exist. She has been saying she wants a BF so bad for years then one day she all of a sudden has one and this profile pops up.. looks totally phony to me.

Every day she writes how she is doing something with him, but it just seems fishy to me..

My 6 year old daughter has dark skin, dark hair and dark eyes. She is obsessed with blonde hair, light skin and blue eyes. I point out latinas who are beautiful, I point out her continually tanned skin, she still feels like she wishes she was white. Her favorite singer is Taylor Swift and she likes others that are darker, like Miranda Cosgrove but not as much. She only likes to play with the blonde barbies, not her dark ones. She said when she grows up she want to marry a boy like my current husband (a white guy) so she can have a blonde baby girl.

Is this just a phase or do a lot of latinas feel this all their life? What else can I do to help her feel happy with her own self as a 6 year old? I don't want to die her hair blonde. she literally said she thinks she is not pretty because she has dark skin. I tell her every day how beautiful she is, she just gets shy and says, MOMMY! (Like STOP!)
