  • Apartment management falsely accusing me of littering and loud noise. What can I do?

I received a complaint of loud noise and littering. The complaint says my guests and I have been littering the property (apartment complex) with beer cans and bottles and a wine glass, and that I've been throwing parties EVERY WEEKEND into the morning. She says if I don't stop she'll start charging me for the trash I leave out in the yard.

I call her a few days later to discuss the false accusation but she says she knows it's me. My neighbor across the hall from me which is her sister the assistant manger, can attest to this she says they've seen my guests out there drinking and throwing snow balls. I tell her it is not me. I asked her when this incident occurred and she gives me the date of last weekend, saturday at 2:30am. She says she came and stood outside my apartment and heard my 'party' but I know it can't be me because I work 3rd shift, left at 10:30pm and came home at 7:20am. The only "party" i threw was a house-warming party back in Oct, but never received any complaints back then. I'm a female living by myself, working 3rd shift, every other weekend i have to work a mandatory saturday which leaves basically 2 weekends a month to throw a party but I'm not even a party girl nor a drinker nor a smoker. I'm already in my mid 30s. Every day I'm asleep by 2pm already. I don't understand how this complaint is valid, and how i can counter this when management won't believe anything I say.

  • Can my landlord ask for my boyfriend's information if he doesn't live there?

My landlord wants me to go in and put my boyfriend on record because my neighbor(s) has informed them that he is there "everyday." He is there very often but he does NOT live there. He doesn't have any of his clothes there except the ones he wears on his back coming over, no toiletries except a toothbrush I bought him and nothing else. He goes home everyday and has nothing registered to my address, he pays nothing and just comes over to keep me company when I come home from work. When I leave, he leaves. He doesn't even have a copy of my apartment keys.

  • Is it wrong to ask your bf/gf what they liked about their ex?

I asked my bf what he liked about his ex(wife) and he looked offended. We had only been going out about 3 months. I'm wondering if I went too far with that question. He told me he wasn't over her previously before so this was our lunch to talk things through and try to work past this obstacle. Obviously, he didn't tell me.

  • Should I leave my bf?

We've been dating 3 months, he already broke up with me before, we just got back together 2 weeks ago. At first it was because I wasn't active enough for him and we weren't compatible. Now, he says he's still not over his ex. They were together 7 years, married for 3, with 2 kids. He was the one who divorced her. I gave him an ultimatum, if he answered his phone we could talk about it and try to work it out and if he didn't I would take it as him breaking up with me again. He didn't answer when I called. The next day I texted him that I wanted to work on our relationship and he answered "ok" right away. I don't want to lose him, he is sweet and caring, and a great father. But I don't know if I can handle his mood swings in the long run. He says at times he doesn't know if he wants another relationship or not, but he's had several girlfriends since his divorce (finalized a year ago).

I thought of just simply breaking up since he's not over her yet, but he's the one who initiated the divorce. That means he's trying to move on right? But, maybe it's just me and he doesn't think I'm a good match? But he's the one who asked me to be his gf again.

I just need some good advice, especially from someone else's experience would be nice.

    Thanks.

  • Do biker women wear heels in real life?

I was wondering if biker women wear heels (about +2 inches) while riding their bikes. Wouldn't it be a hindrance? I looked online but most are models and tend to wear heels and it seems the average everyday female riders do not wear heels. I'm not a rider but I recently met a guy who has a Harley and it seems I will be riding with him as he loves his bike and I don't want to embarrass him but I don't know anything about how a woman should wear in biker culture. He told me the first time that I shouldn't wear like I was riding a crotch rocket... So, I recently bought a high heeled pair of black buckled boots but didn't think of whether it'll "fit" the motorcycle fashion culture. Anything else about riding fashion and necessities are also appreciated, THANKS!

  • What if I don't remember if I took my birth control?

I stop and start my birth control pills on fridays, today is friday but when I went to take a pill I didn't see my last active one before my reminder pills which starts tomorrow. I'm ALMOST positive I didn't take one today because it would've been earlier than my usual time (11pm) but I'm not sure either. Should I go through my inactive pills like regular and start again next friday like usual? Or should I worry about this-possibly missing the last inactive pill-and start a day earlier on thursday? I would know what to do if I missed a pill and it's still there but I don't remember taking this one at all. Help please. I will use condoms as backup but I'm worried about the scheduling of the pills part, should I take my next one earlier or like normal?

  • How will applying for summer financial aid effect the rest of my financial aid?

I don't know whether I should apply for summer financial aid or not. My school says if I do it'll affect the rest of my finaid for the rest of the school year but I can't find the answer as to how it'll change(this is from looking on my school's website). I emailed them but it usually takes a couple days for them to answer. So, I'm wondering will the change be that since I'll get summer finaid that my fall and spring finaid amount will be reduced? Or will I get more? I want to use the Pell Grant I usually get for the fall and spring semester and I'm afraid if i get it it'll go towards the summer semester instead which I'm afraid I'd have to pay out of pocket for the other semesters which will cost more because I'll be taking more classes.

  • Would a guy rather be referred to as a lover or f*ck?

Would my partner feel debased if I complimented him by saying "you could possibly be the best f*ck I've ever had."? Or, would a guy generally prefer the"lover" title?

  • Should I get tested for STDs?

I've been sexually active for 8 years with 3 partners always using condoms (except once with one partner). I'm curious to see whether I have an STD although I have never shown signs of any. I'm worried if there is one that's there but dormant or something like that. In addition, I've been able to donate blood without any problems so does that mean I'm clean?

  • Can I just leave a wasp's nest after spraying it?

I have a small wasp's nest outside my window. It's about the size of a ping pong ball. I'm thinking of spraying it with WD40 (from other suggestions on here) and just leaving the nest there. Would that be unsafe? Wouldn't spraying it keep the wasp away from the nest without me having to physically remove the nest? I live on the second floor apartment so I can't remove it personally with a ladder from the outside. I think it's small enough that I can get rid of it myself by spraying it that I don't have to call management, or should I anyway? I don't want to remove the screen for obvious reasons also. What's my best option?

  • Why does this cpu cost so little?

I saw this at walmart today and I'm wondering why it cost only $298.

It's an e-machine, AMD athlon 220 dual core processor, 2.8 GHz. With a keyboard & mouse, & speakers. 3GB memory, 1TB hard drive.

The ones next to it had less hard drive, around 250-500 and they cost the same, although they had like 3GHz. They're emachines too.

Help me decide whether to buy it or not please.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Is this a mistake on my eye exam bill?

I purchased a pair of glasses and I got billed twice for "zeiss poly" lens. It's $62.50 for each one so that means each lens is that much, right? Because I'll have to go in again if I find out it's a mistake on their part. I regret not looking at my receipt before leaving the store.

    Thanks.

  • What does "amiguiz" mean?

the context is: yo creo ke si vas a tener ke limpiar nieve hoy, por ke ya esta callendo, amiguiz!

or if someone could just translate the whole sentence...

My translation is: i think that if you are going to have to clear/clean up snow today, why/because it's falling?..

Yeah, I really have no clue as to what the over all sentence is. Any tips on how to read it accurately is appreciated. Thanks!

  • What does this Spanish sentence translate into in English?

lo bueno es que te la pases chido

I know all the words but I'm not too good when using direct and indirect object pronouns. My translation is: It's good that you had a cool time.

I just want to know if these rules still apply in the present or which ones you agree with. These were rules written in the 1170.

2.He who is not jealous cannot love.

3.No one can be bound by a double love.

4.It is well known that love is always increasing or decreasing.

5.That which a lover takes against the will of his beloved has no relish.

6.Boys do not love until they arrive at the age of maturity.

7.When one lover dies, a widowhood of two years is required of the survivor.

8.No one should be deprived of love without the very best of reasons.

9.No one can love unless he is impelled by the persuasion of love.

10.Love is always a stranger in the home of avarice.

11.It is not proper to love any woman whom one would be ashamed to seek to marry.

12.A true lover does not desire to embrace in love anyone except his beloved.

13.When made public love rarely endures.

14.The easy attainment of love makes it of little value; difficulty of attainment makes it prized.

15.Every lover regularly turns pale in the presence of his beloved.

16.When a lover suddenly catches sight of his beloved his heart palpitates.

17.A new love puts to flight on old one.

18.Good character alone makes any man worthy of love.

19.If love diminishes, it quickly fails and rarely revives.

20.A man in love is always apprehensive.

21.Real jealousy always increases the feeling of love.

22.Jealousy, and therefore love, are increased when one suspects his beloved.

23.He whom the thought of love vexes eats and sleeps very little.

24.Every act of a lover ends in the thought of his beloved.

25.A true lover considers nothing good except what he thinks will please his beloved.

26.Love can deny nothing to love.

27.A lover can never have enough of the solaces of his beloved.

28.A slight presumption causes a lover to suspect his beloved.

29.A man who is vexed by too much passion usually does not love.

30.A true lover is constantly and without intermission possessed by the thought of his beloved.

31.Nothing forbids one woman being loved by two men or one man by two women.

And if you want to add any of your own rules, please feel free to do so- I might include it in my paper. I'm doing a paper on the evolution of courtship/dating. Thanks for anyone who answers seriously.

  • Do I simply not pay my Sprint bill if I don't want to be with Sprint anymore?

My contract just ended a few days ago so I don't have any obligation toward them anymore. I have a basic plan but I'm paying as much as my friends who have unlimited minutes plus internet. I have none of that at the same price. But I'm concerned about a late payment for what would be my last sprint bill. Help. thanks.

  • Do banks close on Saturdays if there is holiday (July 4th) on Monday?

I'm a new cleaner at a bank and I want to know if I would need to go in and clean that place on Saturday. I have plans like everyone else for the holiday weekend but it'll be spoiled if I gotta work Sat. So if it's likely I won't need to go in I'd like to go and clean on Friday instead. Thanks!
