  • How do I tell my friend that her and bf can't stay over all the time? ?

Ever since my friend starting seeing her new bf she only thinks of herself and him. It got her kicked out of her house by her own family and she even broke a promise to me because of him. But since she was kicked out she's been living on the streets with her bf. I'm unable to let them stay with me and my family because of our lease agreement and she knows this. But she always finds out when I'm off of work and comes over with her bf and ends up sleeping over. They use my shower, they eat my food and I feel like I can't even relax on my day off of work. Sometimes they leave the house to go smoke weed and come back high. And once they came grocery shopping with me and my kids and I didn't realize it till I got outside but my friend stole something WHILE HOLDING MY 1yr old DAUGHTER! I really dont want them around my kids or my home but I don't know how to say it because I know she's going through a rough time. *sigh* HELP!

  • Help potty training toddler?

My son just made 3yrs and he goes pee pee in the toilet but REFUSES to make doodoo in the toilet. He hides in a closet. He's seen his daddy do it and knows what hes supposed to do. I try to coax him to the toilet but he doesn't even want me to be near him. Once, I forced him to sit on the potty when I saw him run and hide and he just cried the whole time. As soon as he came off and i put a diaper on him he pooped. I don't know what to do to get him to poop in the toilet. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated

  • interesting hobbies?

I find myself bored really late at night or at odd times thru the day. what are some simple hobbies that i can do to kill time? im tired of looking for something interesting on the internet or myspace camping. • HELP!! 4 month old baby with constipation?

my 4 month old son has been recently getting constipated more regularly. I know that its because of his formula, but what can i do to help him. I've heard of using dark corn syrup but i dont know about that. I tried giving him some water, but he just usually spits it up even tho i only give him an ounce at a time after he eats (not spits it out, like 20min later he'll spit up the water). I even massage his stomach daily (usually after his bath, right before his bedtime bottle) . Could it be the water i use for his formula? i use purified water with flouride in it (the one bottled esepcially for babies). I read that it could actually weaken their intestinal track. i dont know.....but i would really appreciate any opinion on this issue.

  • is my baby eating enough?

my son is 3 months and about 12 lbs, he always cries when i stop feeding him to burp him and he has a hard time settleling down for a nap (like he doesnt seem tired, hes wide awake) and doesnt sleep long during the day (like 45min-1hr) after each bottle (4). im currently feeding him 22oz a day, i used to feed him 28oz a day but he spit up a lot and had stomach cramps in the middle of the night (i could hear/feel the bubbles when he cried). i read a lot that a baby knows whe they're not hungry anymore but if i fed my son on demand he'd have a bottle constantly in his mouth. He is teething (his first tooth broke the surface of his gums) so i dont know if he's hungry or if he's just being fussy. he does sleep thru the night already, from 8pm-7am. is it probably his teething keeping him awake during the day? how do i know when to start feeding him more?

  • how can i change me boyfriend?

I just gave birth to our son 3 months ago. and he likes to be calmed by being carried right before he gets put down for his nap. i love doing it, we just look into eachothers eyes until he gets sleepy and it helps him to sleep longer. however, his daddy always refuses to calm him down by carrying him, he just puts him in the swing and lets him cry. actually he doesnt like carrying him period. does he not care? oh. he'll hold him, while he watches tv or surfs the internet but thats all he does is HOLD him. our son could be screaming his head off and he'll only HOLD him instead of trying to calm him down. i tried talking to him about it, and he gets a little better the next few days but after that its like he forgot we even had a conversation about it. I dont understand why he isnt more nurturing, is there a way to change this?

  • How do i get my 2 month old son to sleep in his crib?

my son is addicted to his swing and its the only way i can get him to sleep longer than 15 minutes. And i tried letting him fall asleep in it and taking him out but as soon as it stops he wakes up. Its like he needs motion to stay asleep, if he falls asleep in the car he'll wake up if we're at a red light too long. I tried to let him cry it out for 2 days during his naps and at night and it didnt work, plus it broke my heart. I kind of have him on a routine, he eats every (breastfed) 3 hours, and naps for an hour to and hour and a half. bath time is at 6pm and i try to get him to sleep by 8pm. if you have any suggestions that would be great.

  • I'm having breast issues........?

i've been breastfeeding my son for 2 months and i know its supposed to hurt a little wen they latch on but a couple minutes after my son nurses on one side i experience these excrutiating shooting pains, it hurts so much it makes me tear and want to cut my boob off!! i know its not a let down or the milk coming in, i know how that feels and this is not that. It feels like someone is running a knife across my nipple. My son did have thrush but his doctor claims that its gone and i shouldnt be having any symptoms. could it be a clogged milk duct? there is a white spot on my nipple. i do not know how long i can take this pain, im ready to give up breastfeeding all together because of this......HELP PLEASE!

  • Is it possible to spoil a newborn?

...and how long are they considered to be newly born? my son just made 2 months yesterday and sometimes i feel like i spoil him because I'm always holding him. The thing is that he's really gassy and has a hard time sleeping, so the only way i can get him to sleep continuously is if he's in his swing but sometimes he won't even sleep in his swing and the only way i can get him to sleep is if i hold him, so i sit up in bed and hold him. I hold him during his naps in the daytime too, i try to put him down after he falls asleep but he just wakes up. i've also tried everything (besides going to the doctors) to make him less gassy.

I've read books that says "there's no such thing as spoiling a newborn..... babies that young cry for a reason", and i've also read that if you don't let a baby cry then they become spoiled. I feel that it's more important that my son is comfortable and getting good sleep than me. Or am i just setting myself up to have an even harder time in the future?
