16 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoHow can you turn off all the alerts in Vista? Mouse ?
My new computer runs Vista and its making me crazy. How can you discontinue all the alerts and notices to give permission for a program to continue?
Vista is causing a lot of problems for me. Not sure if I like it.
Is there a way to control the cursor in Vista? I have a wireless mouse that doesn't want to go where its pointed most of the time. I have had a wireless mouse in XP and never had the problem.
Thx
2 AnswersOther - Computers1 decade agoWhat happens to bookmarks when you update website and move to a different server?
I've had a website for over 4 years. My hosting server updated its platform and the result is that I can't update my site because it was built on the previous platform.
This cost me page rank and now their name appears in my pages instead of my page name. I am redoing the site and want to change hosting companies.
Has anyone done this and what tips can you give me?
What happens to the people who bookmarked the site?
What happens to the bookmarks if I change page order when I redo the site?
My site gets over a thousand hits a day and I don't want to lose my readers but I can't deal with the server anymore! My other sites are on the server I am going to use and I have no problems with them.
Thx!
2 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade agoAnyone ever buy a chia herb garden and does it work?
I am wondering if the chia herb garden actually grows like it shows on tv.
Someone put it on their gift list and I'm wondering if its a waste of money or if it grows. Thanks!
3 AnswersGarden & Landscape1 decade agoAnyone ever have to file a damage claim for baggage on Delta airlines?
Has anyone ever had to file a damage claim for baggage on Delta airlines or any other airline? My bag got trashed inside and out and even though I filed a claim at the airport, I've heard nothing from them. I've called the baggage dept and they told me to call another number. Call that number, call another number.
How long did it take for them to process your claim and what was the result?
Thx!

37 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoAnyone ever have problems with Sprint cell phone billing?
I didn't renew my contract with Sprint over 3 years ago because I had problems with my service. I paid my bill in full. Not too long ago, at a different address, I start getting Sprint bills with no cell phone number on it. I just spent 45 minutes on the phone to them, and 4 people later and they insist I still have a balance. For three years, I got no bill. Suddenly and at a new address, I get a bill. I can't get them to take off the balance. Its just under 20 bucks, but its the principle of the whole thing. I don't owe them anything. And, here's the weird part, they don't have my OLD address on file. Any suggestions?
7 AnswersCell Phones & Plans1 decade agoDo over the counter wart removers work on dogs?
My bichon has a wart on her back. It doesn't bother her and her hair covers it. I took her to the vet and they want $1022. to remove it. Put her under anesthesia, fluids, blood chemistry, sedation, mass removal and another 10 things on the list. Its not a mass, its a small skin wart. The vet wasn't concerned about it, she said this breed gets them all the time.
Has anyone ever used an over the counter wart remover on a dog? If so, did it work? I don't have the thousand bucks to have this small wart removed, nor do I want her to have to be sedated and spend the night in the doggie hospital for this small wart.
Anyone have any suggestions that might help before I pay the vet?
Thx!
