  • What is going on with my dog? Allergies?

My dog is a female year and a half chocolate lab/springer spaniel mix. She has been eating purina just like our other dog, both with no problems. About 5 weeks ago, she started rolling on her back in the poop around the yard. We just thought it was a bad habit from leaving her outside too long. Maybe it is. We had to bathe her 3 seperate times, mostly just around the neck. We used a gentel, natural shampoo on the area. We have been vigilant about cleaning up after the dogs and that habit has seemed to stop. Good.

Perhaps unrelated, 3 weeks ago she started scratching like crazy. And scratching. And scratching. And chewing on her feet. We didn't see any signs of fleas, mites, bugs; no red marks, no flakiness. No signs other than itching. Her energy was also down, but she has been staying awake at night to scratch when she normally sleeps.

A week ago we started feeding her plain rice and ground lamb in the hopes it was perhaps a food allergy. It seemed to help after a few days, but now today I see in between her toes is a little red (caught her licking.)

Could this be pollen allergies? Does this sound like a food allergy? I will take her to the vet in another week when I get paid, but am concerned about now that she is red between the toes.

She has a fenced in yard in a city with grass, trees and flowers; we live in Northern MN.

  • Chest pain/Shoulder Pain/Ribs Moving Why?

One day, my spine seemed to give out. I couldn't turn my head and there was extreme pain throught my entire upper, including shoulders and neck. The left side seemed worse. I went to the chiropractor and was told my ribs were out of place. This explained the chest pain I was having off and on for the weeks leading up to this. I had 6 adjustments over two weeks. I seemed to back to normal. Now, week 3, I wake to shoulder blade pain and restricted movement on the OTHER side. What is causing this? Could the be from a terrible mattress? What can I do to resolve this once and for all?

  • DVD drive won't close when open, open when closed?

Need some advice on replacing, fixing or scrapping my DVD drive. I have an inspiron e1505 that the dvd drawer won't catch when I try to shut it, and won't open when I press eject. It is listed as: tsst corp dvd+-rw ts-l632d ata device in the device manager. It functions fine, if I can get the drive shut. I have also tried manually inserting a pin into the eject trigger and that doesn't work either. I have tried gently pushing the drive up or down a little when I press the button as well, but nothing seems to help.

Can this be fixed? Should I just replace the dvd drive?

  • Does anyone remember a TV show in the 80's/early 90's that had a magic midget with a suitcase?

I can't remember if the midget was magic or just his suitcase. I'm not even sure if it WAS a suitcase.
