I recently got the test results for a blood test. My white blood cell count is 3.4 which is low. I am a virgin and do not use intravenous drugs, so I don't think it can be HIV/AIDS, and I'm not seeing any other symptoms of anything so I don't think it is cancer. I'm trying to find out why it was low. I did have a meningitis vaccine within a week of the blood test, so I'm wondering it that could have had any effect.

My mother refuses to bring me to a doctor because she fears the chemicals used in medicines. She's been trying New Age hippie magic to cure me when I've been suffering an illness (intense coughing, fever, fluid in lungs, headaches and chest pains) for about 20 days. My dad, who's out of the country, has gotten upset and told her to take me to a doctor but she refuses. Is there anything I can do about this situation. I really do want to get better.
