I'm a high schooler. I'm on my school's rifle team and I'm not the best shooter on the team but I am one of the better shooters.

Recently, I have started hanging out with a freshman on team this year who is also a girl. We'll call her Anna. People think I'm lesbian because of this. I'm not. I don't conform like most teenage girls do but I don't try to stand out. I'm not mean or obnoxious that I know of. I usually stand off to the side for fear of being teased. This year, I am making more of an effort to be outgoing and friendly but tonight, some of the older boys told my friend(let's call him John) that he shouldn't hang out with me because I'm weird and ugly and gross. They also told John, who is dating Anna that I grabbed Anna's butt and that I was lesbian. I didn't do this.

Usually, I wouldn't let this sort of thing get to me but in the more recent weeks, I have gotten called lesbian more than any other time. I am not homophobic but that's not me and I don't want people to think that. I don't want to be the prettiest girl in school or the most popular, I just want to fly under the radar. I know that I'm not the prettiest or the skinniest or the funniest or the most talented or the most outgoing and I'm fine with that but I'm also not the ugliest or the fattest or the dullest or the least talented or the most introverted. I don't know why people choose me as an easy target. I do stand up for myself so I don't think that I would be the easiest target. Please help me out.

I was wondering a few things. I'm a sophomore in high school and my friends and peers are starting to experiment with drugs and I am curious as to how it would feel to get high. My moral compass is a little screwy and I was just trying to get some opinions. Is smoking weed worth the risks?

I know it's not a good thing to do but I feel like I should try it once just to see.

He always hangs out with me and he's really loyal. If he finds anyone making fun of me he will tell them off. Every time someone mentions us possibly dating in the future though he says eww and it gets all awkward... I don't know if I like him and my parents and friends all say that he definitely likes me and that I should ask him out but I don't want to lose a friend if he says no because I like him as a friend. A couple of nights ago, I took him to my gymnastics school and I was sick so I couldn't smell anything but my step-dad, who drove me there, said that he was wearing a lot of cologne and that boys only wear cologne when they're trying to impress girls... Please help. I'm so confused... BTW We're both in eighth grade if that changes anything...

This kid Bailey tries so hard to be a good friend. So hard that he now calls me his "bestest, bestest, bestest, bestest friend". I don't know what to do and I think I like him. He said its possible that he might ask me out and I said I'd probably say yes. But we said that we'd never in a million years date each other. But on the other hand, he talks to me all the time about how he really, really likes this girl, Georgia. We are both in seventh grade and have both had relationships with others in the past year.
