  • Help! Potty training is not going right, my son is fine with having wet underwear and refuses to poop in the potty!?

Son is almost 3 and is willing to pee on the potty if I take him. He has no desire to tell me that he needs to pee. But the bigger issue is that he holds in his poop and will not do this in the potty, sometimes holding it for a day or longer. I need to help him get going on this as he can't start his new preschool until he has this mastered.

  • Should I bring my 2 yr old son to a funeral?

My son has not meet the decesed, but it is for my husband s Godfather. Part of the family is saying yes, bring him and the other part just frowns and ignores the matter at hand. We will have to travel about an hour to the service and after the service there is a family meal planned.

My girlfriends have invited me to go on a snowboarding trip before the season ends. What in the world do I need to know before I head out to the shop and slopes so I don't get robbed blind. How do I choose my gear and is there a great place to go to learn more about this? Please help...

  • Where would a person go to find information on Medal of Honor / Silver Star recipients from the Korean War?

My husband’s grandfather served in the Army during the Korean War, during a visit with him –he has Alzheimer’s- he made a comment about receiving a prestigious metal. From the description of the award we would presume that he received a Silver Star, but with his current condition we have little to no accurate way of finding out more about it. Are there other options also that he could have received that would sound like a Silver Star? Also how can I find out what he did that merited the award?

  • Help me with a Halloween costume party invitation wording?

I am hosting a Halloween party for my friends and family that I would like to do as an open house style so people can come and go as they please. We will provide food and drinks and also be having a few games. The theme I have picked out will be just a basic pumpkin patch…nothing to scary. I would love a cute little poem for the invitation that tells about all this, but I’m not so clever with words. Any suggestions for the party itself or links to websites would be greatly appreciated. This is a first time experience for me so, thank you in advance!

  • Help me find a couch to 5K podcast, please?

I am looking into the couch to 5K program, but to really get me motivated I need music that will help me get off that couch!

So I guess my question really is 2 parts…

If you know of a podcast that you recommend get me a link and tell me how to actually get it to my mp3 player (I use vista and get things to my player via media player, I am a complete handicap when it comes to anything else. I don’t even know where to find this itunes thing.)

Or if you know how to make my own mix of music (so I will know when to run and when to walk), give me some tips and tricks!

    Thanks in advance

  • Las Vegas trip...what do you recommend?

I'm taking a girls only trip in May, what would you recommend as a great place to stay and play.

Also what shows are playing that are a fun night out with the girls?

I have been plenty of times before with the whole family, but I want to see the adult side of town. We are going for my girlfriends 30th birthday!

  • I need something to read...?

I have a preference of Fantasy (not Sci-fi) and a little bit of romance and erotic fiction and some twisted fairy tails.

Some of my current fav's are Sara Douglass, Jeniffer Roberson, Patricia Briggs, Maggie Furey, and Elizabeth Haydon. I also like Gregory Magure and Gail Carson Levine in small doses. Of course I like the Harry Potter books...but if anyone recommends Twilight I will scream. I'm not interested in hype...just actual good books to read. If you will provide a link to where one could find said book that would be greatly appreciated

  • First time skiing…help with everything.?

My friend has agreed to take me skiing this winter…(yeah for Utah!) I would like to be prepared and be able to have a fun day out together, and not just a babysitting job for her. I have looked in to renting skis and boots and poles…but what kind do I get, will they help me adjust binding, what should I wear? Any advice would be great. Thank you!

  • Family History Project… help? ?

I will be doing a little interview with my Grandmother and all her children, over the Thanksgiving holiday. I have a camera all ready to record them and a place to do it, but my question is how to do the actual interview…a previous attempt that a cousin did yielded results that were horrible. The family seemed to answer yes and no and gave no additional details. What can I do to break the ice and get the ball rolling so to speak? Also if you have any great questions that you think are a must to ask for this type of thing or other helpful advice that would be greatly appreciated. I would like this to be a family heirloom that everyone will want!

  • What to wear for Halloween?

I work at a place that really gets into the holiday spirit, the problem is…I work in a small area and need to be able to wear the costume sitting or standing for long intervals as well as be able to type and drive. I love to wear costumes that are not your average thing, and love to put a little more thought into it than just running down to Wal-mart and picking something off the rack.

  • Do you have any great tips for polishing chrome?

I have a very old semi-truck and the tanks are in great structural condition, they just need some TLC. I have started with an acid wash and then a round with Mother’s Brand chrome polish and a buffer, but they still don’t have a finished look to them. They almost look as if the dirty polish is down in the scratches. What would you suggest?
