I have a Vaio laptop, and the keyboard is totally clean...no goop making the "T" key stick.

It usually doesn't start until about 10 or 15 minutes after I've booted up. I'm really worried it's some kind of virus.

I've scanned with Norton, AdAware, and Spybot, but it still happens every single time, preventing me from getting anything done.

Any suggestions? I think I'm going to have to take it to TekServe.

This guy or gal seems to ONLY live to make us sensible, friendly people angry. He/she (or, more likely, IT) seems to enjoy provoking anyone who actually has an intelligent thought, and tries to negate their opinion with moronic invective.

They're obviously mean. They're obviously bored. They're obviously not very bright if their "answers" tend towards 5 words or less. And they're obviously pathetic, sad folk who I can't help but feel sorry for...

An IQ test might not be a bad prerequisite for participation in a community such as this, where some knowledge or informed opinion is essential.

It's a PCG model Vaio, and a Sony VCR I'm looking to use, so I hope I can just get a certain type of cable that would allow them to communicate properly, but I can't find anything appropriate at SonyStyle.com.

I'm almost sure that the sales pitch on the software that came with the laptop was that it worked with VHS as well, so I'll be really bummed if I need to get a new drive or anything zany like that.

I'm curious about the percentage of college students today who identify as vegetarian (including vegan and lacto-ovo), as well as which campuses are known as the most considerate and accommodating of a veg diet. Anyone got answers?
