does a new piercing take longer to heal after being infected?
I was wondering whether the healing time for a new piercing is longer if the piercing got infected along the way. I got my ears double pierced 3 weeks ago and even though I was cleaning them properly, one of the holes got infected. It swelled up with some greenish-white pus yesterday so I decided to see my GP this morning to get an antibiotic before it got any worse. So my question is- will it take longer for this infected hole to heal compared to the other three that were not infected?
