Hello. I was trying to jump start a car and accidentally touched the positive to negative. now the car wil not start. I checked the fuses but the fuses are good. Is it possible that the ecu is fried from that?

hello. my ac does not turn on. i came outside and fan is not working at all. i opened the fan unit box and found a button. not sure what it is. i pressed it and fan turned on but as soon as i let go of the button it turns right off. any advice on what could be the problem? thank you

Hello. I have a volkswagen passat glx 1999 and when i switch from parking to drive or reverse modes it knocks rlly hard and then starts driving slow. Is this a tranny bad or maybe it is a tcm? my check engine came on and it shows 2 codes p1626 and p0702 any help would be appreciated. thank you

Hello. Recently i got a volkswagen passat1999 and it has 4 codes that i scanned. the check engine is on and heated seats dont work. it has a climatronic and the module does not turn on at all as well as cruise control. the transmission does not switch to tiptronic at all . maybe these codes are the problem why it does not work?

I have a 1999 passat v6 glx. It has a tiptronic transmission. when i shif itno a drive position or reverse..it jerks..feels like someone hit u in the back.....and the car loses rpm for a sec...when you drive the car is rlly slow on acceleration but when you already drive on freeway it does well...any help or info would b appreciated. Is this engine problem or a tranny? ps; when i switch to manual mode...it does not swithch..it keeps it in automatic..

I sold a car. I told the buyer to look at the car and check everything out because i dont know much about cars. He did what he needed to do and bought the car. Next day he told me that the car started smoking. He took to shop and now he wants me to pay half of the bill for repairs. i told him that i wont. He said that he will get legal help if i dont. I dont know what to do now. Can he really sue me ? ( the car just had engine rebuilt and it couldnt start smoking by itself. at shop they told him that the gasket on oilpan was not in place.)

hey i found a quarter and it says 1776-1976 on the bottom. i did some research and found that some are worth something. all the worthy ones have an s next to the wig of washington but this one has like a dot instead of an s. should i keep this quarter or i can spend it on the soda machine?
