Why is it that the Chinese people living abroad give themselves Western names and not use their own dialect names? Every chinese seems to be a Claudia, Michelle, Susan or Jennifer. Even when speaking on the phone, I am not sure if the other party is a "Ang Moh" or a local.

Whatever happen to Tan Ah Kew, Chan Yoke Yin or Han Siew Khew? Most chinese claim it's because the other races are unable to pronounce their dialect names properly.That's lame. Try pronouncing Marimuthu, Paramasivan or Karunakaran.

Are the chinese living abroad ashamed of their own culture? Or do they think the culture is backward and should be left in the closet? Most chinese do not even have a traditional chinese wedding. They prefer a western style, church wedding, ragardless of their religious faith.

Fans shouldn't forget Roo is not a Manchester born. He was and always will be an Evertonian. People shouldn't hold Roo to a ransom. He was well payed in his time at Old Trafford. But he gave as good as he got. Roo gave 6 wonderful years to Man United.

Shouldn't a player have ambitions on his own? He wants to further his career. I applaud Roo for taking the bold step and questioning the ambitions of the club. Roo did the right thing.

It seems the Liverpool's managerial post is enticing to most successful managers but inevitably leads to their demise. Since Dalglish left abruptly, so many talented managers have come in to resurrect the club, but all hae failed.
