  • Why did my (male) co-worker ask if I have a boyfriend?

This is the third or fourth time he has asked me. The first couple times, he had a girlfriend so I just thought he was being curious and making conversation to get to know me better. But him and his girlfriend are broken up now, and he just asked me a few days ago if I had a boyfriend. He asked it like "don't you have a boyfriend or something...?" Can't tell if he's still making conversation or being serious. Fyi, I am attracted to him. Help!

  • Does my crush want a relationship or just wants sex?

My crush and I like each other. When he (finally) asked for my number, he texted me the very next day to hang out. When we hung out, we talked about each other, family, what we like to do, etc. He told me how cute he thinks I am and then we started to hook up. He started to unzip my pants, but I told him I didn't want to have sex, and that he would have to work for it since I'm not a one night stand type of girl. He said "alright I understand" and I could tell he respected it.

But ever since that night, he hasn't texted or called me and it's been two days. What's the deal??? Points for the best answer!

  • Guys...do you like it when a girl makes the first move?

My crush gave me his phone number and I gave him mine. We have English class together but I'm hoping he'll call me and ask me out on a date. I sometimes catch him staring at me in class and he usually sits next to me. So should I make the first move? Or keep throwing him hints and flirt so he can ask me out?

  • I have a crush on this guy and I think he might be crushing on me, but I don't know. What should I do?

We have English class together and he usually sits next to me and we work in the same group when there's group work. I saw him at the cafeteria today and we made eye contact. He waved at me so I decided to sit down at his table and get to know him better. We got talking about a little bit of family life, work, and colleges we want to transfer to...basically just a casual conversation to break the ice.

Anyway, we ended up exchanging phone numbers since we have English together. I'm really hoping he won't call me for help on english homework and instead, call me for a date. Or should I make the first move? I feel like I already did by sitting at his table and talking to him. What should I do?

  • So...is he interested in me?

I've hung out with my co-worker a few times this past month since he's moved into a new place with two of my other co-workers. Last weekend, he overheard me and my girl friend (she's also his friend too) talking about going to the beach that weekend. So he asked for my number. I didn't think he would call the next day but he did and met up with me and my girl friend.

Then just a couple days ago, I ran into him at a party. I told him that we should go to the beach again sometime and he said we should go on his day off. We were both pretty drunk by the end of the night so again, I didn't think he would remember. He ended up calling me and we met up at the beach together just me and him this time. After we chilled at the beach for 3 hours, he asked what I was up to later that day. I told him I had to go home, which was sort of a lie because I don't want to look too available for him.

So what's his deal? One of my co-workers told me he broke up with his girlfriend a month ago. So I'm just worried he's hanging out with me because of his break up. I've talked to a couple of my girlfriends and they think he's interested since he keeps calling me and hanging out. He hasn't bailed on me once yet.

  • Is my co-worker interested in me?

So the other night I went over to my co-worker's place to chill with him and his friends. I ended up bringing another girl friend of mine who also works with us. At one point in the night, it was just me and my co-worker chilling in the kitchen alone and making some drinks. As we were talking, he asked for my number so then he could call me tomorrow to meet up and go to the beach since me and my girl friend invited them to come to the beach with us.

He called me the next day and we met up at the beach with his friends and mine. While he was skim boarding, he turned around where me and my girl friends were chilling. So I flashed him a smile and he smiled back.

Then yesterday, he texted me asking what I was doing this weekend.

It seems to me he might be interested in me. But he also just broke up with his ex-girlfriend about 3 weeks ago. So I don't know if he's just being flirtatious because he's single now.

  • Sharp pain under left breast?

I have this sharp pain under my left breast that hurts when I breathe deeply, laugh, and lay on my left side and stomach. This past weekend I slept with a strapless bra that was a bit tight and woke up both mornings on my left side. I never sleep with a bra at night but it was Halloween weekend and I was too lazy to take it off both nights.

I've already looked up some possible symptoms which is Angina and gas. I don't think I have Angina because I don't have the sharp pain in my inner arms, sweating, or nausea. And I'm not sure about gas because I haven't had this sharp pain under my left breast before.

So I'm hoping this pain is a muscle strain from sleeping with a strapless under wire bra in probably an awkward position???

  • 03 Ford Focus vs. 03 Mazda 6?

I can't decide between these two cars. My explanation might be kinda long but this is a big deal for me since either one of these will be my first car. I am a 19 year old college student btw.

Okay so the Ford Focus has 55,000 miles on it, power everything, and an automatic. It is a hatchback, which at first I didn't like the body style but after checking it out a couple days more at the dealership it has grown on me.

I went on Edmunds.com and there was about 235 reviews on this model. Most were good reviews and some were bad. For the negatives, most of the reviews said the Focus needs to improve on more horsepower, better transmission, and better tires (I guess they wear down or get misaligned).

When I did test drive the Focus it did start shaking at 65 mph+ so I assuming the tires are misaligned and hopefully they can be fixed.

The Mazda 6 on the other hand has 91,000 miles on it, power everything and some extras that the Ford doesn't have like a sunroof. But it's a manual, and I don't know how to drive a manual yet.

I did find that Edmunds.com had a bit of a higher rating for the Mazda 6 versus the Ford Focus. A lot more positives than negatives but there were still negative reviews. These negative reviews said that it needs more horsepower, better interior such as the fabric and speakers, better turning radius, better gas mileage, and less road noise.

I haven't been able to check out/test drive the Mazda 6 yet though.

The Ford Focus is listed for $5,500 and the Mazda 6 is listed for $6,000. Both seem to be good cars, and any car is going to have good and bad reviews no matter what.

As I mentioned before the Mazda 6 is a manual which I don't know how to drive yet. My parents do though so if I end up getting the car they can teach me. But it would be easier just to get the Focus and start driving right away.

I guess all in all what I'm looking for in a car is good gas mileage and reliability. It seems that the Ford Focus has better gas mileage, but sub par on the reliability. Yet the Mazda 6 has better reliability, but sub par on the gas mileage. Also, the Ford Focus has 55,000 miles on it versus the Mazda 6 which has 91,000.

I just need some personal insight on what would be a better choice for me in the long run. I'm open to any opinions and insights! If you drive either of these cars that would be really helpful! Thanks :)

  • Can't decide between two cars. Both are Mazda's?

I went car shopping and ran into two Mazda's that I really liked. The first one is a 2002 Mazda Tribute DX (manual) with about 95,000 miles on it. I saw the Carfax and wow, it was the most impressive Carfax history I've ever seen. The DX was only owned by 1 previous owner who changed the oil every 3,000 miles (sometimes even less) and was very good at maintaining the brakes, lights, and suspension regularly. It is manual so it gets about 20-22 mpg on the road/ 25 on the freeway. This car is listed for about $5900.

The second Mazda is a 2003 Protege (automatic) with 77,000 miles. I saw the Carfax and it wasn't as detailed as the Tribute. It only had listings of passing emissions inspection and when it got sold to the other owners (no listings on oil changes, brakes, etc). This car does get around 30 mpg on the road and the price is $4,500.

To give a background on my situation. I am 19 years old and attending a community college about 10 minutes from my house and my job is about 15 minutes. So I don't have to commute very far everyday.

I did like both cars very much. The Protege does have less miles, has better gas mileage, and cheaper than the Tribute. But the Tribute had an amazing Carfax report that had every detail of maintenance and only 1 previous owner (unlike the Protege which had 3). Also, I've been driving my mom's 03 Ford Explorer since I was 16 so I am used to the SUV feel.

So all in all, I can't decide. Both are great cars. If anyone can provide me with their personal opinion or advice that would be great! Sorry for the really long explanation but this will be my first car so I need all the help I can get! Thanks :)

  • Vodka in the freezer?

I'm leaving on a trip for a week with my family. Instead of leaving the bottle in the freezer (don't want the parents to see that haha), I put the alcohol in water bottles. Will the water bottles explode in the freezer while I'm gone?

  • Panic attack from weed?

I have smoked weed for 5 years (not religiously, but if it's there at a party or a friend has it I'll do it...so a couple times a month)

I smoked weed last night out of a bong and had a horrible trip. It felt like I couldn't breathe, my heart rate was beating really fast (even though it wasn't cause a friend was watching me), the room was getting big and then small, and I didn't feel like I was laying in my bed.

I was tripping out for 2 hours, but eventually things went back to normal and I went to sleep.

Is it possible that my weed was laced? Or was I just having a bad panic attack?
