  • Laptop oveheating again... please help.?

My laptop used to have an overheating problem. beause of which I would crash when I tried playing games.

The main reason for the overheating was dust clogging up the vents. I got it cleaned up 3-4 months ago, after which it worked perfectly fine.

But today while playing a game (Ori and the Blind Forest) the game crashed after 4-5 hours of continuous gaming. Is it due to dust clogging the vents again??

  • Why are Sri Lanka batting this slowly if they want to save this match?

Their score is 133/5 off 71 overs at stumps, an the lead is only 220 - not enough to save the game. It isn't a good idea to have such a low run rate in the 3rd innings as it makes the task even harder. Ideally they should have scored at 3.5+ runs an over, in which case they'd have had a lead of about 350 by now which would have more or less gauranteed there safety. At this rate they'd have to bat 1 more session to be safe, but if they'd scored faster they would have been safe and also with a chance to go for the win.

  • Did you know that at the Eden Gardens in 1977...?

...approximately 90,000 fans turned up in the first session of the 5th day.

What is remarkable is that India began the day at 145/7, still needing 21 runs to avoid an innings defeat.

What has changed between then and now? Even on day 1 Eden Gardens doesn't fill up and it only holds about 60,000 people now.

  • Why did Rohit Sharma have to reply to Dale Steyn when he was being sledged?

Yesterday Steyn kept saying things to Rohit like "I've scored more runs than you this series" (which was absolutely true) and "You've done nothing in your career" to which Rohit replied "Let's see what you do in India" Rohit lost his concentration and was out soon after that.

First of all what Rohit said makes no sense as Steyn has achieved more in India than Rohit. Second thing when bowlers and fielders sledge, batsmen are supposed to keep quiet and concentrate on their job. Now every opponent will know that Rohit is easy sledge bait.

I don't think he'll hold on to a place in the Test team for very long. He has the technique, but not the temperament to suceed at this level. He should learn something from his friend Ajinkya.

  • New Zealand's Corey Anderson hits the fastest hundred in ODIs?

Anybody watching this game? Anderson got to hs hundred in 36 balls breaking Afridi's long standing record. Things were a bit easier this time though because the match was reduced to 21 overs a side. Jesse Ryder has made a fine comeback as well - got to his 100 in 46 balls.

  • Where should Ajinkya Rahane bat in the next Test?

With his performances in the recently concluded series Rahane has more or less booked his place in the Indian XI for the next Test. But Rahane is a top order batsman and has opened or batted at 3 for most of his career. India could get a lot more out of him if he was promoted up the order.

Pujara already owns the no 3 position so should Rahane open? Or should he bat at 4 and let Kohli go back to 5? Or should he play at no. 3 and let Pujara open? What do you think?

  • Did you expect England to be in this state after watching the first 2 sessions of the Gabba Test?

At Gabba Australia were 132/6, and Stuart Broad who was supposed to have a tough time in this tour had a 4-for already. Yet 2 Tests later England are just one defeat away from losing the Ashes.

I seriously thought they'd be 1-0 up by now.

  • Is anybody even watching the New Zealand vs West Indies match?

The match timings are pretty awkward.

Q - Are you watching it? Give reasons if your answer is no.

  • Why isn't Rohit Sharma playing the Ranji match vs Vidarbha?

Ajinkya Rahane, Zaheer Khan and Umesh Yadav are all playing.

Although it didn't help much because Rahane got out for 1 and Jaffer made Yadav look like a total noob.

Rohit has had to wait so many years for his Test debut so shouldn't he be preparing for the South Africa tour?

  • What do you think of Kane Williamson?

He scored a century on debut against India in 2010 and has shown great promise. His technique is vastly superior to his Kiwi team mates. However even after 3 years of cricket his average is less than 35. He's still very young at 23.

Where do you think he'll end up?

  • Why did Switch join Sket-dan? (Sket Dance question)?

I've completed watching the entire series of Sket Dance (all 77 episodes).

I saw all the 3 back stories of the 3 main characters and understood why Bossun created the club, and why Himeko joined, but it is never mentioned why Switch joined. His backstory only explains why he stopped speaking.

BQ - What is your favourite moment in the series?

  • What new features would you like in Pokemon X and Y?

Every generation has had some new faetures added.

Gen 2 added 2 new types (Dark and Steel), holdable items and berries, a clock and days of the week, new Pokeballs, Pokerus, Shiny Pokemon and Pokemon happiness.

Gen 3 added double battles, new plantable berries, abilities, a new EV system, Pokemon Contests, an newer Pokeballs.

Gen 4 reintroduced the time system that was seen in Gen 2, and had a 3D overworld. It also classified the Pokemon moves individually as Physical or Special, and not by type as seen in previous generations.

And Gen 5 added Triple battles, seasons, double battles in the wild, infinite uses of TMs, and more...

  • What was the easiest legendary you caught in Pokemon?

I just caught a Groudon (in Ruby) using only 6 Great Balls and 1 Ulra Ball. The first Ultra Ball I threw resulted in a success.

Before this I had caught Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Suicune in FireRed and it took 50-100 Ultra Balls to catch them, and even Snorlax took 30-40 Great Balls. And infact I had to close and restart the game 2-3 times while catching the 3 legendary birds because I'd run out of Pokeballs.
