I have acquired an old cast aluminium blowtorch made by Z & W Machine Products, Clev. Ohio. It does not have a pump, and appears to rely on heat to presurise the fuel chamber. The jet appears to be much smaller than my old brass kero blowtorch, and it does not appear to be more than a few decades old.

What are the chances that it runs on gas and not kero?

what will happen if I put the wrong fuel in?

I am sure many websites describe it, but the search engines do not seem to like searching for symbols

I am reassembling a bmw r100s, and can't work out how to secure the pin that holds the clutch lever to the gearbox. It has a rounded groove at one end, and I am wondering if it uses some form of c clip on the top, and gravity to hold it in place

and am having difficulty getting the motor to start. My motor states it is a 2.5 amp job, which I estimate to be around 2 horses, and have roughly doubled the values used for the 1 horse motor in the article (except for the starter cap). any ideas?

I am having lots of fun (not) trying to work this out as I am fairly new to VBA.
