When I was 18 I married my wonderful husband. He had a great paying job and I already had a 1 year old so he told me I could quit my job as an optician to stay at home with the baby. Well compared to his pay and wanting to spend more time with my little girl I thought it was a sweet idea. Then we had a baby a year later. Then another a year after that and another a year after that. (He went to the doctor after the 4th one)!! I loved every minute I had with my kids. But this year my youngest started kindergarten and I feel like my life just flashed before my eyes. I'm still in my 20's, I have no job, I never graduated school so the only work I could get is pennies compared to what my husband makes. If he were to die I have no way whatsoever to support my kids. I told him the other day if either one of us died it would be better if it were me cause he can at least afford to feed the kids and keep a roof over their head. At this point I can't provide anything. I know my husband thought he was doing a great thing letting me stay home with the kids but I feel so handicapped now and I rely on him so much that I don't have any confidence in myself anymore. I used to be so independent. Never relied on anyone for anything. Ever. Now I don't even recognize myself. I'm just a crying baby living off my husbands money.

Is it normal to feel this way? I don't know how to get out of this rut I'm in. I asked my husband to help me set up a business to buy and clean parts for his home business but he's so busy and I don't think he's taking me seriously. I just sleep all the time now. Wanting everyday to end. This is crazy!

I have a male eastern box turtle. When I first got him I tried feeding him fruits, vegetables, and worms. He refused all of it. Then I noticed my cats canned shredded beef looked like little worms so I put it on a plate and he gobbled it up! Now that's all he will eat. I still offer him stuff but he'd rather starve. He even knows if you give him canned turkey! Like he was out in the wild chasing cows!? What's wrong with him??

Also, when I first got him he used to bury himself in dirt at night to sleep. Now he lays his head on the dirt and stretches his arms out like he's hugging it. First time he did this I thought he died. I looked at him horrified thinking I killed him! Then I pet his head and he quick pulled into his shell.

Overall he seems very healthy. So did I just get a weird one or is this normal?

of all people asking this, i'm the youth leader of my church. and after 6 and a half years of marriage my husband tells me something that was a blow to my stomach and i can't help but wonder why did God create men. what's the point in one sin filled person marrying another sin filled person. doesn't that line itself up for destruction? how is it that God can say "it's not good for man to be alone" when the uniting of man and woman through marriage causes nothing but pain and grief. when life can one day feel perfect and in a split second feel like the end of the road. i'm only 25 and haven't figured everything out. probably never will. maybe we'd be better off alone.

an adjustable lcd screen? i really want to buy one but for that reason alone i'll only use my powershot s5 is. i love the flexibility of taking photos from any angle i want. but if i can't move the lcd screen i'll feel handicapped. is there any good reason to have the screen fixed to the camera?

I can't help but wonder what Americans are getting themselves into. I'm not saying bad things are on it's way. Although you can't help but wonder what's going to happen if things keep looking as bad as they do.

I don't know if you'd call them famous.....but my oldest daughter went to preschool with the Gosselin twins (Jon and Kate plus 8) and the new house they bought used to be my doctor's house.

I have 4 little ones (2 girls - 2 boys) and I would love to start some family traditions! With fall already here and winter just around the corner I could really use some ideas. I would like to know what your favorite holiday traditions were growing up or what you may have started with your kids. Thanks for your help!

I have 4 small children which can make for a lot of birthday parties throughout the year. With each party so far we've been inviting the whole family but I was wondering if that's a little over excessive for them to have to buy all these gifts. I was thinking of maybe cutting out the whole celebrating birthdays and having a big family bash at our house every summer. Is that unfair to the kids? I feel like it's a lose lose situation. Do you guys have any creative ideas? Their birthday's are March, May, June, and September. My baby just turned one so this is my first year of having 4 parties in 1 year. Please help me come up with a solution. Thanks!

I'm surprising my husband this father's day with a new grill. I'm looking to spend up to $2,500 on a propane or natural gas Weber. Is Weber the best? Is natural gas better then propane? Does natural gas cost more? Is it worth having someone tap into my gas line for an outdoor hook up? What are flavor bars? What does it mean if it says it's infrared? I know very little about grills so feel free to give me a lengthy description and/or explanation. I'm spending a lot so I want to get the best. I'd appreciate links too. Thanks so much!
