What is the ideal amount of head (beer)?
I'm a barman and have encountered many people with very different opinions - and I'm curious to see what people here think.
This refers to draft beer (ie, from a keg and tap), being poured into a standard sized glass. For me in Australia that's a 425ml Schooner, but just think of it as a Pint if that's more familiar.
Remember that the patron is paying for the size of glass as well. Differences between types of beer are welcome, but let's keep this in reference to Lager, Pale Ale, and the like - obviously beers like Guiness are an entirely different matter.
Just for reference, the beers I most frequently pour are Tooheys New, Carlton Draft, Tooheys Extra Dry, Heinekin, Boags Draft, Hahn Super Dry, Becks and James Squire Amber Ale.
Thanks!

I'm not sure what language these are other than the fact that they are Oriental.

1 AnswerLanguages1 decade agoCan YOU name these rare beers? (Unidentified beer bottle tops)?
I have a collection of over 600 unique ber bottle tops from Australia and the globe, but have just a few that I can not identify.
If anyone could ID any of these, that would be awesome!

Also, if anyone could translate the text on two oriental beers (enlargements), I would really appreciate that.

1 AnswerHistory1 decade agoIs a coaxial digital audio cable the same as RCA?
I am currently hooking up a home theatre system, and have got most of it under control...
my tv only has one optical audio output and my reciever has only one optical audio input and two coaxial inputs (for digital 6 channels, that is)
therefore to connect my dvd player to the reciever, i am assuming that a single connection from digital coaxial to digital coaxial should be fine. will a reguar RCA cable work fine or do i need a special type of cable for multiple audio channels.
thank you
