I just got a new hdtv with two hdmi ports on it. I got the tv working from the cable box with no problems. When I hooked up the computer to the tv with the HDMI cable there was no sound from the computer to the tv. The computer does have a hdmi port so I thought all I needed to do was hook up the cable. I am missing something but I have no clue what.

I am getting a new Toshiba 40" Diagonal 1080p Full Hi-Def LCD TV in a few days and I am wondering if I can hook my laptop up to it so I can watch netflix streaming movies and other videos from the internet on it.

I know nothing about new tv and what they can do.

I just set up a new 30 gallon tank a few weeks ago, today I took some of the water to get it tested at the fish store. He told me everything was ok execpt the salt level was extremely low. I have never heard of having to add salt to a fresh water tank. he sold me some aquarium salt for fresh water fish.

do I just dump the recommended amount into the tank? It says to one tablespoon for every five gallons.

any info on this will be helpfull!

I just set up a new 30 gallon tank, this is my first tank ever. I put in 3 small tiger barbs and one red tail shark. The red tail is only about one inch long. I put the fish in the tank last Saturday.

The water where I live is very soft, last night when feeding the fish I noticed that the red tail has lost all the red on the tail, it is now almost clear. I have been feeding the fish flake food.

any advise would be helpful.

I know that this sounds like a stupid question,l but can you put a freshwater trout in a fish tank? I am thinking of getting a 75 gallon tank and would like to have some trout in the tank. They require cold water but has anyone heard of anyone doing this?
