  • Pregnant and moving interstate can baby's father stop me?

I am thinking of moving back home (interstate) to be closer to my family during my pregnancy and for the birth of my child. The father of the child has told me he wants nothing to do with me or our child during/after the pregnancy. Should I decide to move back home, can the father of my child stop me from moving should he want to be vindictive? I can't see why he would, but just in case. I was told once the baby is born, he can stop us moving too far if he wanted or at least take it to court and try to stop the move, but I'm not sure if the law is the same before the child is born. Any help at all will be greatly appreciated.

  • Boils! Remedy and Causes?

What is the best remedy for boils and what actually causes them? I shower daily and use a disinfectant in the affected areas to no avail. I also clean the area twice daily with a disinfectant wipe. I have had been averaging one boil a week. My diet is healthy and I don't really eat much junk food.

My doctor lanced one about 4 weeks ago as it was quite large and sore and while waiting for the result of a culture test he put me on antibiotics, just in case. It came back negative, showing no infection.

The area I keep getting the boils is the under-side of my breasts.

Any suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated.

  • Closed roof - A deliberate act or unintentional?

Was it a deliberate act or an oversight that the roof was closed for the Women's Final in the Australian Open?

In the Men's Final, which was played in the evening, the roof was open.

Why was it closed during a day match when there was no sign of rain and the women were actually playing in less heat than when the roof had been left open a few days previously?

Was this done to advantage one player?

  • Why are those who work punished?

Why are those who work hard and pay their taxes discriminated against when it comes to medications?

I am disabled and not working and had to get a prescription filled today. I paid $4.90 for mine, yet a friend who works had to get similar medication and paid $75.00.

I understand why mine would be low - pension, low income, etc, but why was his so expensive simply because he didn't have a pension or health care card?

Is it that pharmaceutical companies are simply too greedy?

  • Difference between Janome 644D and 744D?

I am looking at buying an overlocker and am tossing up whether to buy the Janome 644D or go for the 744D.

I have been told that the only difference between the 2 is that the 744D is a newer model and has a free-arm.

I would appreciate any-ones views on the 2 and if they have a preference for one above the other.
