Would you accept an engagement ring your boyfriend bought during another relationship but never used?
My boyfriend purchased a ring during his relationship with his ex, he said he bought it for his future wife not necessarily for her (wasn't her size...it's actually my size). However he did have plans to propose even though he says he wasn't going to live up to those plans for he knew she was cheating on him. She had seen the ring though because she snooped through his things but never wore it nor did he propose. I know for a fact he wants to marry me, I told him in the past I'd never accept that ring because he bought it for her, he assures me it wasn't FOR her but rather the ring he wanted for his future wife...so the question is, would it be acceptable for him to reuse the ring under these circumstances? (I still feel as though it was purchased for her...not many guys buy rings that they like and want their future wife to wear whomever she may be...)
