Volunteering in a hospital USA or Canada  ?

    Favourite answer:

There are volunteers in hospitals in the US, but you can't get a visa to do that. However, after you get your nursing degree, there are traveling nurse positions that allow you to go all over the world and work for pay.

It's impossible to move out of the US without a degree right?

    Favourite answer:

There are many different ways to live outside of the US, but having a university degree definitely opens up a greater number of opportunities.

Marrying a citizen of another country would likely enable you to live and work in that country, though different countries have different procedures for processing foreign nationals on spousal visas. Obviously a degree would be beneficial anywhere, but unless you were to gain proficiency with the local language, it's unlikely you'd be qualified to do anything besides menial jobs.

Working for a company that has offices in other countries might be an opportunity to live and work elsewhere on an employment visa, but no company would send an uneducated and inexperienced person overseas, so that's not going to happen.

Many people from developing countries take jobs in wealthier countries doing less desirable jobs that the locals don't want to do - Filipinas living in Saudi Arabia or Singapore work as housekeepers or nannies, people from Uzbekistan work as farm laborers in South Korea... But those people work 12 or 16 hours a day, 6 days a week for a pittance. And most send every red cent they make home.

It's 2021. Get a diploma. Life is hard without one.

    Is this a bad plan?

I want to study in England where my boyfriend of 6 years lives. I only have $17,000 in the bank. Studies along with food, rent, car and travel/activities will cost approximately $80,000 for 4 years.

My boyfriend and I met when he was studying here in the US but he is from England so he's been back their now. Our relationship is solid and we are definitely going to get married in the future however I do not want to marry him in a hurry just to make the cost of studying there cheaper.

    I'm 25, he's 26.

I'm wondering if taking out a loan to pay the $80k for my 4 years of studies is something people do? I plan to marry him after i finish school and then work in England so I will be able to slowly but surely pay it back.

Does this sound ridiculous or what? Thanks for any feedback

Can you move to England if you have a bachelor's in psychology?

Or do you need more to apply for a job abroad? Would a master's be better?

Would worth studying in South Korea?

I got a chance to study either in South Korea or in the UK. I am interested in either pursuing a tourism deg or language(Korean studies) deg. I am trying to decide which course to pursue. I am 28 and I have been to both of the countries coulee of times already. I originally wanted to study in Japan but I was refused because I didn't have toefl or graduated from an English school(I am not native English speaker...) so, since I have been to Soeul and Busan couple of times now, I want to study more in South Korea than to UK(in London I got offers) . However there is ageism going on in Korea and I have been told or warned off more to not study there as a uni student(freshman at age 28) because people will put a line between each other cause I would be like an aunt(?) to them.. I was even told if I am ok not making friends in the classroom or in my department then I'd be fine at the uni..(The Koreans I have met have told me these,...) I want Asia but UK has lots of benefits too, if I graduate from a UK uni that is. I can't seem to decide and the application deadline end within a month..I don't know if anyone on this site can be helpful, or reply but yea..

Are Russian schools better than Canadian schools academically?

I’m currently and IB student in Canada and have a Russian-raised step mom. Every now and then I’ll tell my family to be quieter so I can study, and that I’m super stressed, but my annoying step mom (who has a photography gig but no job) consistently tells me that what I’m going through is easier than public schools in Russia. So I was wondering if any Russians/experienced people can tell me if she’s exaggerating or I’m just weak.
